Tl;dr This place is great, food is good quality and it sits as basically the entrace to the woods. The have good beer.
Horsendon Loaf has always been the perfect space when visiting the area as it's basically in the woods and connected to a community farm. It used to be a small bakery on the weekend with a single farmers market stall. But it's developed quite quickly to somewhere you should go out of your way to visit as The Sunday roast is absolutely great (was a veg option but no vegan).

It is very hard, in my experience, to find bread, sweet treats and cakes of this high quality. All of this is offered for sale direct to us, a step or two from the free-of-charge Horsenden Hill Farm car park, by dedicated people who rise early to make it that morning with fine ingredients and without cutting corners. This is true Slow Food to discover, relish...
