Excellent food and service. Hungry Cow do not dissappoint with the opening of their second branch. The buttermilk tower burger is my personal favourite, succulent chicken, great sauces and crispy fries! One of the best things about hungry cow is how they package their burgers, this keeps it very warm until you get home :) Unfortunately can't say this about other burger establishments. Would have liked to pay by card, but understandably this was not available as the store just opened.

Excellent food and service at the new branch in Canning Town. The food and service is exactly the same as the E1 branch which was great as I am such a big fan of the hungry cow. Food was dished out within an adequate time and tasted amazing glad I got a local 1 now. The burgers were nice and juicy with a good amount of sauce to compliment it. Deja Moo is the 1!

The food is really good, especially if you always wanted MacDs but never had to try. The portions were good for the price and the patty was juciy and tender, tasted fresh. The fries were crisp and the packaging and taste resembles McDs fries aswell. Normal soft drink is included when you order a meal but for 50p more, you can get the exotic drinks. 9/10

Missed items from my order. Called up the shop to let them know but they refused to correct the mistake. Disappointing.

Reply - We understand what the offer was, however that’s not the issue ! the nuggets never arrived in the order. Explaining the “Buy 1 Get 1 Free” deal doesn’t make missing food magically appear.

Instead of addressing that, you’ve written a long response trying to prove we misunderstood. The problem isn’t the offer, it’s that the items weren’t delivered. Pointing to Uber receipts and breaking down prices doesn’t change the fact that what we paid for didn’t arrive.

If your goal was to resolve the complaint, simply acknowledging the missing food would have gone further than lecturing us about your promotions. For a place called The Hungry Cow, maybe the workers were just hangry and decided to keep the food for themselves.

UPDATE - 28th August

You keep repeating the same point about “four portions” as if that’s what I complained about. Are you being deliberately dumb? The issue wasn’t about the offer, it’s that no nuggets arrived at all. That’s what I said from the start, and you’re still dodging it.

Now you’re claiming your staff “clearly informed you” that everything was packed — yet somehow, the food I paid for never made it into my hands. Blaming the Uber rider instead of accepting responsibility is convenient, but it doesn’t change the fact that I didn’t receive what I ordered.

And since you’ve already chosen to bring religion into this, let’s be clear: as Muslims, lying isn’t a good look. So please don't make stuff up like “abusing your staff” when clearly we both know that did not happen. If you’re going to invoke faith to guilt customers, you might want to make sure you’re being truthful first.

Maybe spend less time lecturing about promotions and more time making sure the food customers pay for actually arrives. Anyways i shall leave it at this! Im not fussed about the food, its the principal and integrity of your workers and yourself, Which i have not seen an ounce of! I will pray to Allah to guide you...

Oh no,going down recently Tried Smash few days ago and patte was too dark and thin, not fresh and crispy like an year ago. Only buttermilk lives up to the billing. Please try to investigate what happened lately to your Smash burgers. All branches I tried recently and they have disappointed with same dark, burnt edges and no caramelized onions or zing to the burger like before. Nice burgers, slightly hotter and more fresh than Leytonstone branch......... Just tried it now. Both burgers were nice and fresh. Although Smash burger was not available unlike Leytonstone branch still decent and hot beef and buttermilk burgers. Buttermilk could have been fried and dipped in lavish ampunt of butter batter and it should be a decent enough meaty piece which is slight disappointing considering that. Slightly agree to one customer who said looks close to a Steak chicken burger. Nice addition to a list of burgers still. Good burgers nonethess and I recommend it to...

The slowest service. They ignore the phone. They cannot deal with more than one order at a time. There is always a crowd in the shop waiting and waiting and waiting! They are so selfish with the tinest pot of sauce and ONLY give you ONE ONLY with a meal??? WHO ARE THEY SAVING THESE FOR???? THE END OF THE WORLD??? I phoned 12 times. They finally answered and said 45 minutes. This is for TWO burgers?!!!!! I still gave them 45 minutes to which they kept me waiting at the shop a further 35minutes. Absolute jokers and headless chickens behind the counter. They panic and get confused if there is more than one order. If you want to wait 2 hours for a burger than this is your place! Delivery drivers arguing with staff because they cannot make a burger within 2 hours. You will get seen and treated quicker in a hospital A&E than to get ONE burger...
