I had lunch here as part of a group that that was carrying out some community based work locally at Hollingbourne Church. I only live about 20 minutes drive away but had never heard about this café! I was seriously impressed with the quality of the décor, professionalism of the servers (who I understand are mainly volunteers) and the high quality of food and drinks served at this café based in the former ticket office at Hollingbourne Station. We had a cooked breakfast at The Signal Box café at Hollingbourne station this morning. Excellent food, good coffee and tea selection and a friendly atmosphere. I found this cafe through google as I had a car having a tow bar fitted in Maidstone and needed somewhere to go for the day. What a find! I worked on my laptop for a bit then went for a lovely walk over the fields. Came back with muddy boots but there was no fuss. Delicious lunch and cakes.
