Hillbilly's Street Kitchen — Restaurant in Malvern Hills

We visited on Saturday to try out their new sit in service but we were quite disappointed. Service was extremely slow and I had to chase ordering as it wasn't clear whether there was table service or not. It felt as if they had just extended their waiting area as those collecting food were also told to wait in the sit in premises and they therefore took up all the seats and tables which made it feel like we shouldn't be expecting to be able to eat in.

Food took around 45 minutes to be delivered to us in boxes and we were not prioritised over those who had ordered to take away so we might as well had ordered over the phone or on the website for delivery!

The burger and chips were nice but the Mac and cheese was not great. It tasted from a tin and had hardly any cheese and no crumb to it.

It felt as though the seat in service was no different to ordering food to go so we would not recommend eating in as the experience was no different at all. No apology for late food either. We did not feel valued as customers.

It's a shame because the first two orders we made when they first opened were amazing, however the last two orders were extremely disappointing. We previously ordered the pork belly bites and instead the pork came in a big slab and was extremely fatty and inedible.

I hate to say it but this was the last straw for hillbillies. We gave them a second change but won't be...

Having ordered 2 x burgers and the buffalo wings that come blue cheese dip when the food arrived we had no sauce with the buffalo wings, when I asked about this we were told they had ran out of the blue cheese dip and we were not offered a replacement of the sauce nor were we told about you being out of stock of the cheese dip. I then asked if we could get another sauce to go with the buffalo wings and asked for a bbq sauce but we were told we would have had to pay extra for this sauce as it is home made, whereas in my eyes we should have firstly been told about you being out of stock of the dip to begin with and should have been offered a replacement sauce free of charge. When we started eating the wings we noticed they were raw and we said to the staff working and showed them. The staff member then said the wings do bleed but to me they were raw. We then asked for a refund as we didn’t have time to wait for others to be recooked to which she then asked did we only want a refund because we didn’t have any cheese dip with the wings which I felt was a bit rude because the wings were clearly raw. Have ordered food from here plenty of times and had problems with waiting for the food for a long time but this will be our last time...

I Recently went to Hillbillys, and it was a great experience and burger venue.

For those local it's a cross between burger shop Hereford and the beefy boys. But with less grease! I had the big blue special and bullseye smash burger, Sides of mac and cheese balls, sweetcorn strips, onion rings and slaw, fries. All delicious.

The burgers were tasty, a tiny bit of pink in the meat, which some would want cooked more, I am ok with it, but very juicy and flavoursome, the sides are fantastic.

The burger is packaged well, as was everything else was, and looks great, tastes great, and one to remember.

A minor issue on the order but didn't take away from the overall experience

I Wish these guys would broaden the delivery service (Ledbury). I Would pay a bit more for that. A weekly treat. The food was still hot enough to eat upon return :-)

For those looking at this review, this is a startup, does great food and you need to support it, for burger lovers, it's a must from the usuals. You won't regret it
