Unfortunately, that's where the good review ends :( We were seated on a three-seat table right next to the carvery which was not ideal when parties of 6-8 were stood in a line waiting for their food whilst we completely hemmed in - not good when you suffer with anxiety, made worse when the kids just gawped straight at us and our food whilst we were trying to enjoy our meal. There were over 25 of us, which from past experience at other venues appears to be challenging for some pubs to cater good quality food for. I have to say, the staff at The Bridge at Stanford nailed it! They were very welcoming, quick at serving and the food was cooked to perfection. All our food was served piping hot and quickly and I have to say it was the best meal I personally have had in a long time.
