The cafe offers a range of drinks and food.The service was quick and friendly. There are benches and tables under a cover and also numerous picnic benches close by. The park is well worth a visit, there are several car parks all completely free. There are numerous marked walks and lots of other trails you can follow. There are benches and rubbish bins everywhere. There is a small stream and several lakes. One large grassed area has 3 football pitches with a wide path around it, excellent for runners and there are even outside gym equipement to use. Other areas are a sensory garden, a babies commerative garden, climbing frames and a small zip wire for children and two areas for dog training! Something for everyone, well...
Read moreI come here each weekend with the dog. Get a coffee to take with me around the country park. My dog gets excited when I pull into the car park, and she always gets a fuss when we go. It's always a welcoming environment with smiling faces. There's a good variety of cakes and snacks, at a good price. The sausage rolls are much better than Greggs. I also like that it provides opportunities for people with learning disabilities, which is what first drew me there.
