First time visit on a Saturday. We booked, as table was for 7. Extensive menu. All the favourites. The 'signature dishes' were all unique as far as I could tell, and from this I chose Chicken Chemali. Which had a sort of soy, honey, sticky vibe, and utterly delicious. Signature dish meant it came with matched rice and a triangular plate. Standard dishes had circular plates.... Nice touches included....trolley bringing food to our table included a gas hob to ensure perfect temp for the dishes......waiters asked how much of your dish you wanted to start with on your plate, and measured it out for you.....free shots at the end with a choice of sweets/after eights/aniseed. Wonderful service and a pleasant setting right near the huge free car park of Olton Station. Update 14/1/23. Another Very Successful takeaway. Now our go-to Indian Restaurant Update 19/9/23. Another excellent meal in the restaurant. All others are now compared to this one, as the benchmark. Look out for special offer when you dine in off peak. Update 5/2/24. Still great. I think the plates are a bit bigger? We were all stuffed. Saturday evening and it was packed, but still great food. Update 22/9/24. They've updated their menu. All the old favorites of mine, and some new ones to try over coming visits...... All with dish names I don't think I've seen on a menu before. Check it out! Just remember to book on Saturdays. PS, there's currently 25% off food when you dine in Sunday to Thursday

I love love love this place. It’s a short distance from home and the food is always just how I want it! I ordered a Chicken Tikka Puri and Salad as a main dish for £8.50 as a takeaway, this has to be my ALL time favourite south Asian dish and it’s beyond delicious 😍 Ofcourse I requested this be made as hot as a vindaloo curry because I love the fire in the spice 🌶️🔥 but you can alter this to your taste.. Best starter dish any south Asian restaurant can have on their menu.. 😍 A lovely independent business based on the Warwick Road, Olton, Solihull. The perfect curry house for some amazing food!! The staff are always so attentive and helpful 😊

We used to use here a few years back so decided to try again tonight. Unfortunately it is not how we remember. Chips were soggy, it only took me 2 mins to refry them and they were ok so just felt rushed, as they were you couldn’t have eaten them. Keema naan burnt on the outside and filling hardly in the middle and not much of it. Curries ok but nothing amazing. Just disappointed really. If you’re rushing then just allow the delivery time to reflect what you can actually achieve and get out so that it’s edible. Delivery was on time and the driver pleasant. Unfortunately we won’t use again.

Granted we got to the restaurant at 22:15 on a Saturday night but they had a choice to serve us or not , they accepted our order for four of us and we ate our food within 30 - 40mins which was good , the bill came and we included a 10% tip , however throughout the meal we felt rushed and when I went to the toilet at the end of the meal I even said we are leaving now and the manager replied “that’s good” ( after only been there 40 mins and paying £80 ) I did point out to him that the customer service was shocking and that they didn’t make us feel welcome but his response was that it was late and that’s fine but they had a choice to take our custom or not , they took our custom and took our money and a tip so we should of received the same level of service that all customers received , but I have nothing to grade that against because all customer service might be this shocking because it was an empty restaurant at 22:15 next to a pub on a Saturday night speaks volumes!!!. The manager was more interested in arguing with me than listening to my constructive feedback. Never...

I am lucky to eat out on a regular basis and have eaten at many different establishments, so i do have some experience and knowledge when eating out , ok the Rajasthan although it was my first time at this location it's a place i have passed many times but never eaten there. ok down to earth to summarise the experience was a bit bland, nothing in particular was bad but nothing was great making me want to return.

The food was ok but lacked excitment and flavour i think bland would be a good discription, the whole experience was just a little flat, myself and my friend who was with me scored this location a 6/10. As i said at the start nothing bad but not enough to make me want to return, sadly there is stiff competion at this location and less than a mile up the road would be possibly its main competitor on Dove house parade, thats where the issue sit's, its a big step up in food- presentation and atmosphere and surprisingly a tad cheaper for the same meal , so Rajasthan could do better not bad but not outstanding either scholl report...
