Greggs — Restaurant in Mid Suffolk

We have always gone past this services but decided to pop in after leaving the A14 to travel up the A140. Missed the entrance at first because the sign is dire and partially hidden by vegetation so went back around again. Initial impression was dire. Car park is in a dreadful state, potholes and a lorry parked across 4 car spaces at 11am. Parked as best we could and went in. Toilets are absolutely filthy. I've seen similar I'm far flung places abroad! Greggs food counter was appalling. There were flies crawling over all the cakes and pastries and buzzing around the lights etc. Got a vegan sausage roll, again dire..pale and not even warm. Hubbie had a bacon roll. Very substandard. The seating are wasnt set up so didnt encourage people to sit and eat. Definately will never be going there again. Its a poor reflection of a service stop and...

The woman who served me really needs educating on the purpose of a reusable cup. What is the POINT of me using a REUSABLE CUP if the server is going to use a disposable cup to put the water in then pour it into my reusable cup? Utter madness. The woman refused to fill my cup from the machine despite the fact I've been in this shop in multiple occasions and had my reusable cup filled up by the machine with no issues by other staff. Extremely disappointed....

Staff are robotic no eye contact, rush you to order, id eat outside its cheaper ! the seating area always used to be closed off around 4.30pm so they don't have to clean it later Last time I came here I FELL in the carpark! As it was very uneven and minimal lights. Teamed with the god AWFUL constant same theme music playing over and over, then the extra charged to eat in, the Aircon is on in winter so its cold INSIDE, tables are always dirty...
