Tender Bun Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Milton Keynes

Cons Fries were a little salty Online order process horrendous. Milkshake was a bit of a let down.

The website is awful, and needs optimising on mobile. It crashed on my first order when viewing tracking, didn't provide any receipt or confirmation, and so I presumed it didn't got through, so made another after setting up an account.

When I arrived to pick it up, I arrived at small shop on the out corner of the cascade of other shops, and no real seating options, which is fine for take aways. I had only noticed it had accepted the first order, but by then it was too late to cancel as I was told the food was already being prepared. The customer service was polite and non-confortational at least, and on reflection I should have checked my bank account.

After receiving my takeway order, I found it to be well presented, and of good portions. The burger was well presented with a slightly grilled broche bun, and the chicken well prepared and extra crispy, rivalling that of KFC, but not quite Five Guys. The fries were also crispy and well done, but I found to be a little on the salty side. The milkshake was anticlimactic for the price however, tasting nothing like the Kinder Bueno flavour I had chosen, and a lot more milk than shake.

It's worth a visit, but for reasons explained, it's why I prefer ordering via Just Eat or Uber Eats than patronage via...

THIS IS PROPER FOOD !!!!! As a young couple who are very health and nutrition conscious we cannot wait for our cheat day at Tender Buns , while serving fried chicken it is not oily and greasy and makes you feel like you have eaten proper food . The burgers are exquisite , big chunky fillets nice buns , perfect ratio of fresh lettuce and mayo !! THE BIRYANI WOW !!! This man deserves to have a restaurant and serve his food to millions ! So aromatic , such a balance of flavours and for only £5-8 . Prices are unbelievable could charge more it’s actually insane !! What a gem of restaurant , they are always so polite and I would honestly urge anyone to go here instead of a McDonald’s kfc or any other...

I recently visited Tender Bun Fried Chicken and decided to try their milkshake along with half a grilled chicken. The milkshake was absolutely delightful—rich and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness. It was the perfect treat to complement my meal.

As for the grilled chicken, it was cooked to perfection. The chicken was juicy and tender, seasoned beautifully, and had a lovely smoky flavor from the grill. The portion size was generous, making it a satisfying choice.

Overall, my experience at Tender Bun Fried Chicken was fantastic. The combination of the milkshake and grilled chicken made for a delicious meal, and I can't wait to go back and try more items...
