The Old Barn Tearooms — Restaurant in Mole Valley

Seemed ok to start. Decent food selection, ordered a crispy bacon roll with smashed avo. The young staff seemed to just go through their paces, noone seemed to be very cheerful. Anyway as long as the food is good, no problem I thought. I found a table at the back and eventually the food came out. The roll was so so, the bacon nice and crispy, but the avo/smash seemed like it had come straight out of the freezer. I'd understand its not suited for warming up but no need for freezing cold. After 15 mins of the table buzzer going, they finally came over to bring they food they forgot about. The brought the wrong chilli for one of the meals, with the pulled pork tasting with the loaded fries (also way too kuch sour cream, so everyrhing was cold snd soggy), so both left which was a bit of s let down after the farm. Great place to stop if your on a walk or bike ride in the area. You don’t need to pay or enter Bocketts Farm to visit here. But there’s also animals and a play area to keep young kids happy.
