The Pod — Restaurant in Mole Valley

I was out on a visit today and fancied a coffee, so I used google local restaurants take away and the Pod popped up. 2mins away great I’ll try it. I was given a warm welcome by Tom. Whilst make my black coffee (and putting a couple of cheeky bits of bacon in the grill for a bap) told me the coffee was sourced locally by ‘Chimney Fire House’; it was lovely. Black coffee can have that bitter taste to it, but this didn’t, it was smooth, full of lovely flavour. The cheeky bacon bap I had (don’t tell my slimming world consultant) was delish. Good quality bacon and roll. The pod has somewhere you can sit inside and out and well equipped to cater for those pit stop refuelling times. deservedly 5stars, i was first intrigued when i saw the Chimney Fire Beans sign, these are arguably the best beans in surrey, i have been to the roastery and had tasting sessions there. As for The Pod, i must say i was surprised how good the coffee really was, not the taste of the beans as i knew these have a great reputation.
