We booked a table for four on Mothers day. Good service, friendly staff, great food. Will absolutely go again soon. When we arrived, mum got a glass of prosecco. We had starters (calamari, garlic musrooms in cream sauce, ham hock terrine and prawn cocktail) which were very tasty, and well presented. For main we all had roast (2x lamb, 1xbeef, 1xpork). There was plenty of vegetables - crispy roast potatoes, a yorkshire pudding, carrots, parsnips, leeks. We added a side of cauliflour cheese. It was all delicious and we even had room for pudding - two creme brulee and two sticky toffee puddings. Despite being very busy on Mothers day, the service was prompt, and food was hot.

Been staying in Sway, Lymington for a week visiting The Silver Hind pub every day. The staff (Leia in particular) and locals are very friendly and the pub has a great atmosphere. The menu is very extensive and we've just had Sunday dinner which was excellent. I forgot to take a pic of the Cajun Swordfish lunch I had but it was amazing. I did remember to take a photo of the desert 😊 I highly recommend this pub 😍

We visited this pub for a Saturday lunch when staying at a local campsite. Had a very warm, friendly welcome and was fortunately dog friedky. The food was superb !! Menu choices were extremely varied and we opted for a bajhi burger and home made burger, both with triple cooked chips and coleslaw. Wonderful!! Would highly recommend this pub.

My brother and I were just walking past this pub when a couple of patrons approached us and told us that "people around here don't like dark faces around here". They then proceeded to be very confrontational. I don't in any way suggest that this establishment shares the opinions of these patrons. Nor do I believe that these two people speak on behalf of all of those who frequent this pub or the other residents in Sway. However, I do feel it necessary to make this known to others who may wish to visit the Silver Hind or the area. This was by far the most brazen act of racism I have ever experienced and unfortunately can only suggest that this behaviour is not challenged by their peers. As a result, I do not intend on ever visiting Sway again and would actively encourage those of non-white ethnicities to avoid Sway too. It's unfortunate that these two people have demonstrated such poor character in representing...

Fantastic service. The girls were very attentive. We were disappointed with the food. The starter was good. The fish cake was very tasty.. The mains - I had sirloin steak which was good but overpriced and my chips didn’t taste like double cooked chips. My partner had calves liver which was undercooked and very rubbery and very overpriced. The dessert - orange and Grand Marnier creme brûlée This was ruined by a dollop of ice cream on the top which was unnecessary and I couldn’t taste any orange or Grand Marnier. This is a real shame as we live in the village and is our nearest...
