Lovely and peaceful place to visit for lunch. Best browny ever and cookies to die for with frothy cappuccino and lattes. Lovely home cooked chips too. We did a circular walk from Maun trail and stopped here halfway. Friendly staff and couldn’t do enough for us. Definitely recommend

We had a drive down to the Lake and Leaf today for a cuppa and cake. We were greeted with the warmest welcome and fabulous hospitality! I had the BEST Brownie with Twix embedded in it, and my husband had Biscoff Rocky Road, which he’s still talking about now! We sat in the sunshine watching the wildlife over the lakes, and it felt wonderfully peaceful. We decided to do a 6km circular walk from the Lake & Leaf, through the woods into Clipstone and back again. What a super way to spend a sunny autumnal day 🥰. I highly...
