I have had coffee at Bunns a number of times and it is always excellent. The service is wonderful.

I just wanted to highlight a particularly fantastic experience I had today. When I arrived at the shop today, there was a sign saying they had closed a little bit early (I missed them by about 15 minutes). The staff were still there and a lady asked me whether they could get me something quickly. My dear little dog is being put to sleep on Wednesday and I had wanted to get him a pup cup (basically whipped cream) to enjoy.

The staff member explained they did not usually do them but when I shared the situation about my dog, she made up a cup of cream for me, even though they were closed and didn't usually provide this.

A huge thank you to Sarah from Bunns for creating the most incredible wedding cake – it was truly beyond anything we could have imagined! She completely got the brief and brought it to life with so much colour, character, and personality. Not only did it look amazing, but it tasted absolutely delicious too.

What made it even more special is that Sarah also made my 21st Greggs-themed birthday cake, so having her create our wedding cake felt like a full circle moment. It’s been such a joy to have her be part of these milestone moments in our lives.

Fabulous cafe, in heart of Brunton park. NE3. Staff are kind, patient and so nice. I really enjoy my visit and experience there. Large assortment of exquisite homemade cakes, scones (savoury and sweet) etc. All at a reasonable price. Drinks too, good choice. Can get very busy understandably. Various parking outside, different time zones, all free. Or in residential streets as no permit parking. . Cafe is on ground level, but is tightly packed. A outside area at rear, great in summer. And few seats at front. Sarah Bunn and her staff have worked hard to make this cafe such a treasure with a good reputation and...
