Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne

I have used this costa a few times so im a bit surprised by the poor service today. There were no medium or large cups today, so I could only buy two small oat milk latte instead of my usual large. No problem, except realising how expensive two small coffee are lol (nearly £9!). Started to drive away, and the coffees tasted really watery. I went back to request two new coffees. The person that served me just looked at me when I made my request, then turned to her college and said make two more, she ignored me and had a miserable look on her face, then went to serve someone else.

No apology, no smile or any words at all, just a miserable stare, then walked away. Very poor...

Shocking staff here. Stopped for a much needed coffee on our long Drive down theA1. Had a free treat voucher to use on my app. Asked the young girl what I could use it on. She replied abruptly ‘anything’ I placed my order for a skinny latte and a piece of strawberry vanilla cake. She never asked if I was eating in or takeout. She assumed eat in (which I wasn’t )so I asked to swap for take out but noticed my slice of cake had a big chunk of the bottom section missing . I asked where the rest of the cake was and she blankly ignored me and popped it in a bag and then a young lad changed my coffee to a takeaway cup. No politeness or manners at this place!! glad I won’t have to go...

Authentic pleasure of visiting Costa Coffee, and it was an exceptional experience. The customer service was outstanding; the staff was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a delightful visit.
