A very very new restaurant on Great Park, we couldnt wait to visit it, staying just above and reading amazing reviews. The ambience is absolutely wonderful- bright, airy and the wver smiling staff and owner. He personally came up to each customer and made it a point to ask them their name and how they were. As soon as we were seated, out came a huge biwl of prawn crackers with a side of chilli oil. Needless to say with 2 kids in tow, it was gone in lightening speed. There are not too many dishes on the menu but I must say they have a really good selection of Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. We tried a bit of everything- Sea food, Vegan and chicken and couldn't fault wven 1 dish. Absolutely packed with flavour, the quantities were enough to even parcel for another meal. For starters, we ordered Vegetable Gyozas, Deep fried Tofu, Deep Fried Tempura, Salt & Pepper Mushrooms.. safe to say were kinda full after just that. I must also add that the tempura was not at all oily and the consistency, seasoning etc was spot on!

For the mains, we ordered King Prawns in a Mango Curry sauce (WOW), their Kwai Feh special fried rice, and their special Chow Mein - their meats were absolutely flavourful, just the right bite and overall delicious.

For the vegan option as a main we went with a mixed vegetable and long bean in a blackbean sauce.... i could just eat it without the rice or noodles.. it was that amazing.

We also ordered sides of Mushroom Fried Rice and Chow Mein noodles...

CAN YOU TELL IM A FOODIE?? All in all it was definitely worth the wait, and I would rate them 9.5 out of 10. Amazing hospitality and...

The food I can’t fault every thing else WOW !! Bad I live in the block with my children and every night because of this place my children don’t get to sleep some nights after 12 the amount of cars and noise is ridiculous I haven’t wanted to say anything but enough is enough they are allowing customers to bring there own alcohol and the noise from the drunk customers leaving at night time is that bad I’m seriously considering leaving great park and I’ve also seen one of the workers goin to the shop in his apron and buying cans of lager ?? Why’s are they doin that if they are not allowed to sell alcohol ?? or it’s customers being made to wait outside for there food and making so much noise the bad language is terrible … not only that the staff stand outside the back entrance to smoke many times I’ve seen them just throw there cigarette dumps on the floor we pay for use of that car park that they are now destroying and the delivery drivers and workers that are using our residents parking spaces is another major issue we pay again to have that privledge the noise needs to stop you need to remember children live above...

🌟 Kwai Feh - A True Gem for Chinese Cuisine 🌟

Having lived in Newcastle all my life, I’ve experienced countless Chinese restaurants over the years. In decades past, Chinatown on Stowell Street was the go-to spot for fantastic meals. However, times have changed, and now, the finest Chinese food in the North East can be found at Kwai Feh in Great Park, Gosforth.

The service at Kwai Feh is impeccable—friendly, attentive, and professional. The modern and stylish surroundings create a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for any occasion. But the true star of the show is the food. Simply put, it’s some of the best Chinese cuisine you can find in the region.

I’ve dined here on numerous occasions, and I can confidently say that the food quality has been consistently exceptional every single time. Whether you choose to enjoy their exquisite dishes in the restaurant or opt for their takeaway service, you’re guaranteed an outstanding culinary experience.

If you’re looking for the finest Chinese food in the area, look no further. Dine in at or treat yourself to their fantastic takeaway—you won’t be...

Kwai Feh is fantastic, the only problem with having this as being Great Park's first sit-in and take-away restaurant is that it is too tempting. The food is so tasty my favourite is the shredded beef or the Kwai Feh bbq chicken. The restaurant is a classy establishment and while they don't have an alcohol licence yet you would expect to have a bottle of wine with your meal and this will be an added bonus when it is granted. The staff who work here help create the welcoming atmosphere and are incredibly respectful to the surrounding residents. 5* food 5* service

Food is awesome. So lucky to have this place on our doorstep. Would never have thought to head to a Chinese restaurant for coffee and a snack but the lunch buns and dim sum are out of this world and perfect if you’re not after a big meal. Looking forward to our takeaway tonight too 🙌🏼😋
