Thought this place was okay ish until tonight when me and my nana went for a few drinks and a meal when one of the old looking female staff member rudely stormed over practically shouting at my nearly 70 years year old nana saying I apparently 'shouldn't be' drinking in here asif she even knew anything about me unless you've just had a birthday ,because we've been 'spoken to' before? Didn't know they didn't serve alcohol in a pub? Extremely slow service as they are dealing with takeaway orders at the same time. Waited over 35 minutes for burgers. Not McDonald’s I know, but it’s pub food not fine dining. Table’s filthy. Food came over a seriously protracted timescale. The server seemed to have no idea what was to be delivered to the table. Food. Grey chicken strips for the kids. Brack burgers were very poor quality and left a film of fat on the palate. Toppings overwhelm the burger. Probably deliberately. Called in at about 9pm on a Saturday evening to find the venue very inhospitable with a very young audience trailing in and out of the toilets, eventually we were served our drinks (a little pricey for the venue) found a table to sit at, within five minutes of our arrival the first fight broke out about five feet away from us the barman eventually managed to deal with it and the perpetrator ejected ( not so quietly).
