McDonald's — Restaurant in Newport

It really doesn't matter what one I use. If I'm using drive through and that's all I do use. Then they all seem to be equally as bad as each other. And I check everything before I drive off. The most common issue I have with them is that my drinks are never full and accurate and I can tell immediately just from taking the drink off them that it's at least a good inch from where it should be. And when I ask for a large I kinda expect a large.... and not a medium in a large cup. Although a little annoying it's usually not that big of a deal. I just ask them decently to rectify it and they do...... for the most part. However I do randomly get staff that inform me that that's how the machine is calibrated. And that may be so??? However that's their problem not mine and I'm not prepared to pay for what I have received. They can either top it up or stick it in a medium cup and give me the difference in my money back. Another common issue I have is the hot chocolate. They really do a nice hot chocolate drink when it's right. But sometimes it's like coloured water and tasteless. Again it gets blamed on the calibration, but I have never had a problem getting it rectified. Lastly 🤨 before I leave to go and collect my order. I have to check all our local McDonald's and that's 3 of them. To check who has the milkshakes and iced drinks available. And I can often go around all three of them just to find out that NONE of them are available???? Now for a place like McDonald's I find that...

but upset with the service at this mcdonalds tonight, been eating here for 10 years now and not ever had a bad experience but this evening was awful ; always use the drive through as we have a dog,this was not in use but that did not matter so much.ordered inside, got back to car found some chips were missing took them back to get missing ones, great got them, got back to car found been short changed by £5 could not complain as had already left the shop my fault for not checking,then noticed one milkshake was small size not the large one we ordered but as the kids had helped themselves to the drinks (as they were thirsty) as was fetching missing chips and had drank most of their drinks, so thought we could not swap this now, tucked into chips which were pure salt and underdone ! was meant to be a treat for the kids but left there so...

This place is so disorganised. They can never get an order done properly. No matter if I go to the drive-thru, order online or use the self-serve screen. Items are regularly missing, and I had to drive back on multiple occasions to get it sorted. Even then, all the manager could muster was an insincere apology and turned away when I was still talking to her. Same manager that smokes by the entrance ruining your experience if you're seated outside. I also don't understand why the menus are removed from the drive-thru?! What if I don't know the McDonald's menu by heart? And it's been like that for well over a year. Food is cold most of the time, but that's understandable given they mess up most orders and have to sort those out too. If you're not local, just keep driving until you find...
