Oriental Garden Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Newport

I have ordered takeaway from this restaurant a few times now so can make a reasonable assessment.

Food - very good Friendliness of staff - excellent Parking - available outside the restaurant (on street) and there is a 2 car drive which i have been able to get a space in most times.

If i want a chinese takeaway i go here for the food, friendliness and accessibility.

One point for feedback would be the containers are microwaveable , although some were rated for 650Watts, 1 for 500 and the chicken and sweetcorn soup container, while having the microwave icon did not have a number for the microwave power rating , which is trivial, just put it in a bowl.

Would be excellent to have the same microwave power rating for all containers, but overall 5/5 is the most...

Perfect Chinese I had in a long time. I would say the best chinese in Newport. Every meal was very delicious to the point and not greasy as usual chinese takeaways. Not only the food but the services including the delivery guy was so helpful and respectful. The lady who attended my order also made sure to ring me back to check if everything was right and if we were happy with our order as we made a huge order for 10+ people.

Inspite all this they even provided us with lots of xtra food items, including but not limited to drinks, fried rice, fortune cookies, spring rolls, prawn crackers, etc etc.

By far the best chinese food in this Area. It is our go to. Small amount of tables so we do often sit in and eat rather than take away. Genuinely have not had a bad meal since first discovering over a year ago. They are busy, that speaks volumes.! We have tried most things on the menu and all lovely. Their traditional Spring rolls are amazing! I just wanted to add....I saw a negative review...it made me a little sad as I know a negative review can have impact. My advice, no one is perfect, having been here over 20 times, not once had anything to complain about. Talk to the owner...(not sure of her name) so helpful and I know she will...
