2 August 2025 We had afternoon tea. What can I say? It was absolutely beautiful!!! The array of food incorporated in the afternoon tea was both delicious and varied. The presentation was exceptional especially the vegetable soup served in a teacup. The food was very fresh and had great attention to detail. The presentation of the afternoon tea using a beautiful vintage teaset was lovely gold cutlery and cakestandsgsrden centre. as was the actual place we had the afternoon tea. It overlooked the beautiful garden and garden centre. The lady who served us explained what everything was and was very attentive even though the main restaurant was very busy she kept coming to check if everything was ok offering us more tea and coffee. An amazing setting, with Peahens, beside a huge garden center. Only 4 stars as the menu didn't reflect our actual dish. Vegan sausages were vegetarian, which they kindly let us know. But the vegetarian breakfast was missing both the soda bread and potato bread, both of which are vegetarian. Vegan options here would have been nice. As a suggestion, you can get vegan bacon, pudding and sausages which would make an amazing addition to the menu. Vegan sourdough bread instead of gluten free bread, as the latter is awful. Otherwise it's great to see plant based options for breakfast, but going that little bit further would be great. Maybe even some plant based pastries or desserts would...

First class vegan and vegetarian breakfasts at The Garden Room. Food was delicious and met completely dietary requirements. ( even vegan sausages). Service wonderful and accurate! Cleanliness was awesome - as always! Atmosphere peaceful and restful. Johnny ensures end to end service that delights the customer.
