Very nice , only thing was the wait when there were empty tables . But the grub was ok and still warm . I think that the small , medium and large is a bit silly as it's only the meat that makes the difference in price . And you would like to think that you could get family rates . But sadly not the case . So will I go bk ???yes if I was near there and feeling hungry. But wouldn't go for an arranged meal . As there are many more places just as good if not a little better . Myself and my partner booked a table to come and have a carvery this afternoon. Neither of us liked the roast, it tasted bland and there was no flavour in any of it whatsoever! I ordered a nut roast and even that wasn’t that nice, I left half of my dinner as I couldn’t eat it because it was just tasteless. We told the barman when we went to pay the bill and he offered us a free dessert but we declined. Very disappointed and won’t be going back there again, won’t...

A strange experience. Only three stars because of the decor. The inside doesn't match expectations of the external look, but apparently under new management and undergoing renovations. Hopefully that will make it more inviting and cosy, on the inside. Get over that, though, and have a meal. Today was the first day they started serving food. Menu is a bit limited but what we had was cooked well and very tasty. Excellent dessert too. Well done...
