Escape to The Cedars 👀 🧳Enjoy the Comforts of our Superior Rooms 👑 #thecedars #devon #hotel #hospitality #weekendbreak #holiday #travel #traveltiktok #barnstaple

Mixed reviews for this place. Just been there for a wake. Some staff were excellent but the managers were lacking in skill and knowledge. We had to pay £35 just to have the bar open and then there was just 1 person having to serve over 200 people. We had asked for 10 tables but there was only 9 set up. They ran out of certain drinks which was bad. The food cost £14 per head and was reasonable but for people with allergies they only offered a few sandwiches. At one point they locked the doors on us so we could not use the other bar which had a lot more drinks to choose from. Overall the general staff were friendly and efficient under the circumstances. Thank-you Kitt for your bar service

There are three EV charger points here. Operated by ChargePoint / RAW (not by the hotel itself). About 55p per kWh when I was there. In the Main car park, to the right as you go up the driveway.

This comfortable hotel has plenty of parking and well presented gardens surrounding it. It is run by a hard-working, polite, and friendly team. Set back from a busy roundabout, there was hardly any traffic noise due to lots of mature trees in the large, well tended garden. The menu choices are varied, and cater for most diets. I would recommend the breakfast. All food was served by the amazing waiting staff. They coped so well with our large grouùyup in the 3rd heatwave of Summer 2025, always polite, smiling, and helpful. Our double room was on the first floor of a small block, just footsteps away from the main building. The room was well presented with a large private bathroom. The bed was large and...

We had a lovely 4 night stay at the Cedars Inn Hotel in July. We loved the main hotel, which served us excellent breakfasts each morning in the breakfast room and excellent evening meals each evening in the restaurant. The bar room was relaxed and friendly. Our room was in the courtyard apartments and was clean and tidy and very comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and efficient and helped to make the stay a great experience. And the location is excellent for heading out to different tourist spots such as Ilfracombe or Lynmouth or the Valley Of The Rocks or Clovelly, Bude, Westward Ho and lots of lovely little hidden places. We would definitely return to the...
