On my first visit, I was told that no food was being served that day and come back on Thursday. On my third visit, I arrived on a Thursday and was told by the owner that the chef was ill. That was the final straw. I went to a pub a little further down the road and took my custom there. On all 3 visits, there was no sign to say that food wasn’t being served. I will never visit this pub again. It is clear that they don’t want to boost the revenue of this business. Perhaps they should leave signs outside saying, ‘We don’t need customers today.’...

We decided to go slightly off piste whilst selecting from the menu and the Chef went above and beyond to prepare the most delicious Fish Goujons, stylishly presented in a fresh warm ciabatta! We were made to feel welcome from the moment we stepped in and it truly was refreshing to see how the standards have been elevated! Thank you Sarah and team ....I have chosen my favourite seating so you'll be seeing us...
Read moreThis pub is a total Gem!! It's a typical country pub, that looks and feels beautiful. The landlady and staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, serving a great selection of beers, ciders, wines, and spirits. The atmosphere is really relaxed. They have made such a wonderful effort to make these crazy times, not so crazy!!! Absolutely brilliant marquee to sit comfortably and watch the footie too!! Great pub. Lovely hosts. Brilliant place to stop for a few cheeky bevvies.... Would give 10 stars if I could. Thanks to all at the Plume Of Feathers...
