Worst cafe ever - overpriced and rude. Went to this cafe today with some friends. Asked for the menu at the counter and the lady running it gave me a rude comment. Asked if they did curry sauce and see was incredible rude and said ‘we’re not a chippy you’ll have to go to Cromer’ dispute them having a massive menu and doing fish and chips as their special. Ordered 3 bows of chips (3.75 each !) and two teas and a coffee - came to £17.55 !!
When we sat down it took ages to come out and when it did the it was a cheap plastic kids bowl with about 10 undercooked chips in. I commented as the young lad (who was nice) walked away and he over heard so I told him. He managed to get another tiny bowl off the chef and even commented himself about the cafe not being good.
Apart from the young lad server the staff were incredible rude, The service took forever and the food was bloody awful.

Read moreBeautiful Spot! !! Lovely little cafe and very dog friendly. We had our 3 Dogs with us and we were made very welcome. They got dog biscuits too. The food was lovely, I had lasagne and himself, had a fry. Both were very nice. However, I thought it was quite expensive, £10.95 for lasagne and chips. A very poor portion of chips. I counted 11. I asked for a few more and was told I could order a portion for £2.95. If 11 chips is a portion, then that works out at 35p ish per chip. For frozen chips.. hardly. When I asked for an extra tea bag in our teapot, I was told I'd have to pay for an extra pot of tea. I've travelled the length and breadth of the UK and never have I been told I'd have to pay for an extra cup when I've asked for an extra bag in the pot. Not the best way to encourage repeat custom. Despite how lovely it is, I doubt...
Read moreTrading and charging based on a previous reputation. Overpriced and pretentious. This used to be the go to cafe for breakfast, however, they seemed to have cut the quality and raised the prices. For example: No butcher would served the butchers sausages, they were slimy and consisted mainly of gristle and bread crumb, they'd obviously been produced at a very low price point. The fried bread was absolutely dripping with oil, as if it had been taken from the deep fat fryer and served with zero draining. The black pudding was non existent, with no explanation, substitute or price reduction offered. A better breakfast is available close by at half the price and more or less everywhere else will offer you better value in terms of price point or quality, but,...
