Worst cafe ever - overpriced and rude. Went to this cafe today with some friends. Asked for the menu at the counter and the lady running it gave me a rude comment. Asked if they did curry sauce and see was incredible rude and said ‘we’re not a chippy you’ll have to go to Cromer’ dispute them having a massive menu and doing fish and chips as their special. Ordered 3 bows of chips (3.75 each !) and two teas and a coffee - came to £17.55 !!

When we sat down it took ages to come out and when it did the it was a cheap plastic kids bowl with about 10 undercooked chips in. I commented as the young lad (who was nice) walked away and he over heard so I told him. He managed to get another tiny bowl off the chef and even commented himself about the cafe not being good.

Apart from the young lad server the staff were incredible rude, The service took forever and the food was bloody awful.

Worst cafe I’ve...

Beautiful Spot! !! Lovely little cafe and very dog friendly. We had our 3 Dogs with us and we were made very welcome. They got dog biscuits too. The food was lovely, I had lasagne and himself, had a fry. Both were very nice. However, I thought it was quite expensive, £10.95 for lasagne and chips. A very poor portion of chips. I counted 11. I asked for a few more and was told I could order a portion for £2.95. If 11 chips is a portion, then that works out at 35p ish per chip. For frozen chips.. hardly. When I asked for an extra tea bag in our teapot, I was told I'd have to pay for an extra pot of tea. I've travelled the length and breadth of the UK and never have I been told I'd have to pay for an extra cup when I've asked for an extra bag in the pot. Not the best way to encourage repeat custom. Despite how lovely it is, I doubt...

Trading and charging based on a previous reputation. Overpriced and pretentious. This used to be the go to cafe for breakfast, however, they seemed to have cut the quality and raised the prices. For example: No butcher would served the butchers sausages, they were slimy and consisted mainly of gristle and bread crumb, they'd obviously been produced at a very low price point. The fried bread was absolutely dripping with oil, as if it had been taken from the deep fat fryer and served with zero draining. The black pudding was non existent, with no explanation, substitute or price reduction offered. A better breakfast is available close by at half the price and more or less everywhere else will offer you better value in terms of price point or quality, but,...

Our welcome was warmer than the weather! Particularly for our furry family member who was given boney biscuits on arrival and offered his own water bowl. Due to properly observed Covid regulations, no tables inside but lovely to sit outside in the sunshine. Fenced off terraced area for dogs and their families. Delicious homemade cakes for everyone! The enormous fish and chips was excellent. Pricier than your average seaside establishment but the whole Cliff Top Cafe experience is waaaaay above average!! Would definitely recommend. We are returning to try out the rest of the menu...

Lovely little cafe with the friendliest staff. The cafe is extremely dog-friendly so if you don’t like the furry friends then this may not be the place for you. Food options are good for breakfast and prices reasonable for the quality you receive. The view from the outdoor seating is amazing on still day while you sip and enjoy a lovely coffee or tea. My only gripe is that the white coffee is too milky so if you like a white coffee without too much milk, order it black with milk on the side.

I found this Cafe on my last day of staying at a local campsite I wish I had found it sooner. There is a car park close bye. Which you pay and dusplay but on this day I was on my bike. A lovely place. If I'm in the area again I will be calling back. There is a good path down to the beach this is quiet steep but its a good quality surface . You could walk 2 miles to cromer from here or visa versa. It is worth the walk . Hope this helps if please press the like.Enjoy 👍
