Oriental Garden — Restaurant in North Norfolk

I have been living around the area for about a year and always wanted to visit. Today was the first time we came here with my son and my mother to enjoy food and have great time. Food was good, very filling. When we were about to leave we went to pay. We were charged 60£ my mother had cash so she was paying and gave few extra pounds as a tip. After they gave us the receipt I checked it because we did calculate before and it should've been less but then I realised that was not what we ordered, when I pointed it out she said sorry and asked other waitress why did it print out the old receipt. Then she printed ours and it was 40.20£ and started giving back us the tips we gave.My mum was so confused and asked me. Once I said she gave the wrong change she responded with 'you gave two notes' . While i was trying to explain the the situation kept getting interupted and the girls wouldn't let me speak. They called out who I believe was in charge at that time or the owner I could finally explain the misunderstanding. In the and gave 20£ back and kept complaining. This place deserves better workers. I've been manager for over 10years in cafes. I do believe those girls are taking some money from the work place. The Owner should investigate, have a look at the cameras how they are charging people and handling cash. Will...

Only here for a couple of days and Oriental Gardens is apparently a top place to visit, I can see why. It appears to be a more popular, collection takeaway place. But, that's just what we observed when we were there. The staff, a very lovely couple of women, polite, considerate, checking how our meal is etc.... Now, we were very concerned when the "Sea salt and pepper" chips showed up, looking like normal chips but this is not true. Try them, you'll taste the difference.... No, the Meat Spring Rolls. You see that you only get 2 and if you're from London, you'll think this is a joke, 2!? It should be 10. Trust me, 2 is enough, they're tasty and massive! Worth the visit, but they really only take cash payments. No card, at all.

Wine, we both had a glass of the pinot and rose, both lasted the meal. We drank them slowly to be fair but the waitress, did come over and ask if we'd like the water or more wine. A*...

Worse Chinese experience ever. Greeted by a moody teenage girl in a coat, not welcoming at all. Lots of reviews mention this Meat spring rolls were large but had minimal meat, do well to cover your thumb nail. Told by waitress that they are vegetable spring rolls with meat Crispy duck not crispy at all but dry and lukewarm, first time not had a crispy duck shredded at the table Egg fried rice with virtually no egg accompanied by supposedly hot crispy chilli beef. Beef sadly lacking and pretty tasteless Never asked how meal was at all and 1st time in a Chinese that didn’t see a single Chinese person Would not waste your cash on this place, complete...
