Fryday Fish Shop — Restaurant in North Tyneside

Where do I start? Ordered meal over the phone as it was a large order. Girl answered phone and asked me to hang on for 2 minutes. 8 minutes later she hadn't come back to the phone so I hung up. Rang the other number and placed my order. Was told it would be 45 minutes for it to be delivered. To cut a long story short after 2 phone calls to them I was told driver left 10 minutes ago with my order. After another hour I phoned as still not received it to be told my order was there ready to be delivered!!!!! By this time it was over 2 and a half hours after I placed the order. So I was blatantly lied to which is unacceptable. Asked to speak to manager but was told they were out delivering. So I told them to keep the food as it was too late by then. Manager then rang me and offered the food for £10 less than what it was but I said I didn't want it she then offered it to me for free but I was so cross I didn't want it. I love this place more than life itself. I don’t know how the pizzas are SO good but they are. Always look at the requests as well which is great. Kebabs are amazing, fish is lovely and chunky and chip portions are massive. All dips are great, and always arrived on time. Great prices and deal offers. Only thing i will say is that they don’t have all of the drink options the say they do on uber eats and they guy on the phone can come across a bit blunt, but honestly 10/10. Lived right round the corner for 3 years and only just started ordering, won’t go anywhere else now. Absolutely diabolical service. Ordered pie and chips, pattie and chips and a portion of chicken nuggets for delivery and was told 45minutes to an hour which was fine as my daughter was on night shift and it gave her an hour to have her tea. Rang at 7.00 to be told ours was next one out by 7.30 still hadn't arrived. Needless to say I cancelled the order as my daughter had to leave for work at 7.45. Will never ever use that fish shop again...
