Kudos! You’ve perfectly captured in food form merely existing in life with feelings of hopelessness and despair.

In fairness, we did enjoy the Chicken Goyza starter, but the wings were dreadful. It’s actually impressive how devoid of flavour the chicken was.

The thai green curry did look amazing, but zero flavour. The rice was both undercooked and burnt which I thought was a particularly good effort.

The scott burger was better as it came with a salad and chips which were decent. The trademark joyless empty flavour was experienced in the patty though.

The menu has quite an impressive selection but I would suggest it would be better to cut the menu down to what they have actual ability to offer. The Chicken Goyza starter does leave me thinking there might be a half decent meal combination you could pick. We did not find it.

The service was a mixed bag too. We came in and were forgotten about but there was only one other table occupied. We did see 2 people sit down and then change their minds fairly promptly. Smart move folks! But generally being served the interactions were pleasant enough.

On the way out I did have to do a double take on their version of a good bye. Instead of the more common thanks for coming or whatever, it was a suspicious have you settled the bill. Brilliant!

Not sure if we appeared a tad shady or probably more likely the lady was shocked someone would pay without complaining. I never enjoy the thoughts of how my food might be handled if I was to complain. Although to be fair, at least then the food may have tasted of something…

Terrible food, terrible service, terrible staff. Very disappointed. I can’t believe the awful attitude of the staff. Very unprofessional and rude. Felt like I was dealing with petty teenagers. I was stared down by all members of staff hanging around the bar whilst having fingers pointed in our direction. Simply because we asked to be served. They must have decided to punish us for asking for service. The food was cold, looked like it had been carelessly thrown together, definitely not freshly prepared. I suspect frozen chips where used and some of the food was simply heated up in a microwave, meals arrived a different times and not all together. I had finished by the time 2 friends were served. Wasn’t the right order but at this point they were just fed up and hungry wanting the experience to end to leave. Chucked onto the table by the waitress in what I can only assume was ‘revenge’ for daring to ask for service. Didn’t bring cutlery or ask if everything was OK. Cocktails where very poorly made/mixed. Waited a long time to be served for anything. Must not need the custom. I had to repeatedly ask for service and then the bill. Never again. It was a very strange and slightly...

We are absolutely appalled by how we were treated by this venue.

We booked well in advance for our son’s 18th birthday party and had been in communication with them several times leading up to the event.

SIX DAYS before the event, we went in to finalise the arrangements only to be firstly told "oh thats been cancelled" then we discovered they had actually double booked the date and penciled us in for the wrong day!

They then tried to mask their clear admin error that they “don’t accept 18ths” – which they never mentioned before, despite knowing all along what the booking was for.

This was used as a scape goat for their terrible planning and communication and not a way to run a business!!!

They offered a refund, but frankly, that does nothing to help us at this point. We’ve now been left scrambling to find a replacement venue with less than a week to go – and their attitude was nothing short of disgusting. No real apology, no effort to help rectify the situation, just a shrug and a refund.
