We love this park. Always really clean and well taken care of. It's clear a lot of love is put into its upkeep and care. Lots of lovely looping trails, but can be very hilly and steep in places. I just wish dogs were made to be kept on leads because as a mom of two toddlers I don't appreciate dogs I don't know running up to my girls and getting in our personal space (licks to the face, muddy dogs brushing up against us, fast large dogs jumping up on us, etc.). We would much rather ask if a dog is friendly and have the owner's permission before encountering the dogs. We took our dad's nervous dog today and had to guide him away from several dogs who were off lead, their owners too far to pop them back on the lead (one owner didn't even appear to have one for his dog). Everyone in the park we've encountered has been really friendly. The cafe has delicious coffee, ice cream and snacks (not the friendliest of staff, but decent enough).
