Lovely place, great food, amazing coffee. I ate on a Wednesday afternoon a table for 3 and a high chair. The staff are very smiley and friendly, the restaurant waiter was very nice and attentive. I ate the Chicken Parmo; a breaded chicken breast topped with a slab of melted cheese! Tasty chunky chips on the side and a decent salad! Absolutely beautiful and most enjoyable meal! Would recommend to anyone with a good appetite! Finished the meal with a coffee.. as a barista and coffee lover I criticise coffee allover the place. The velvety smooth latte I received at this restaurant is second to none (complimented beautifully with caramel syrup shot). I will certainly be coming back just for a coffee!! 10/10

What a fantastic Sunday lunch! I've visited this pub a few times, but only ever for drinks. Glad we decided to come today, as the food is top notch. The premises itself is huge. It was a farm in times gone by. Inside and out, the place is lovely and everything is of a high standard, and I mean everything! Drinks wise, there is something to suit everyone's tastes. Whether you are a real ale fan, spirit or wine afficionado, or like your premium lagers, this pub has it all. Don't hesitate to come here for a meal and a few drinks with those you care about.

Quite a few things on the menu not available, but always delicious. Edit: Taking back my review, appalling vegetarian options, wife got a Cauliflower steak, they literally gave her a half of head of cauliflower the bearly touched a grill, no seasoning, no herbs or spices, no sauce, Nada. Dont know how any chef would allow that to leave the kitchen, it embarrassing for such a high end establishment. £15 for half a cauliflower head, shocking.

A Disappointing experience: I recently visited Shiremoor House Farm, calling in hoping to enjoy a quiet afternoon reminiscing about old times with some of the regular customers Unfortunately, my experience left me deeply disappointed and perplexed. As a former employee who had left on good terms, I was shocked when I was asked to leave the premises without any explanation. Upon receiving this unexpected treatment, I reached out to my former manager seeking clarification. Her response, though polite, only added to my confusion. She informed me that despite the fact that I had indeed left on good terms me that the owner had decided it was best for me not to frequent the establishment at this current moment in time While I understand that establishments have the right to refuse service, especially if there are legitimate reasons to do so, the lack of transparency in this situation was disheartening. In terms of ambiance and service, I must admit that my visit was marred by the uncomfortable encounter. While I cannot speak to the overall experience of other patrons, I can only share my own perspective. It is disheartening to witness a place that I once held in high regard fall short of its previous standards. I sincerely hope that Shiremoor House Farm reevaluates its approach to customer service and communication, as it is essential for any establishment to maintain a positive reputation. In conclusion, my recent visit left me feeling disillusioned and disrespected. The lack of transparency surrounding my being asked to leave the premises with no explanation has significantly diminished my opinion of this establishment. I hope that necessary steps are taken to rectify these issues and restore the once enjoyable experience that Shiremoor House Farm was...

Went tonight as a late Mothers Day/ Family meal to be absolutely gutted with the quality of my food. I ordered the Pork Chop with cost £18 with a side of Salad which was another £3.50. My main meal was appalling and I am in disbelief how the chef actually let it be served ..... where do I start ....... the veg mmmm what veg I got 3 tiny limp carrots which needed resuscitated, mash potato which was watery and supposed to be mustard mash no this just had a massive dollop of mustard stuck on the top and the cabbage well I got about 3 strands that were limp, the salad was again limp looked old and it was spot the tomatoes I actually got 1 half of a baby tomato.. shocking. The Pork chop mind was cooked nice but didn't have much meat on. Relayed this back to the waitress who was lovely to be told my meal would be free. Went to pay to then be told of the manager that no my meal was not free but my pudding which I had no quality issues with, doesn't make sense. I was told that I ate the majority of my meal .... no I ate the only decent thing with was the pork chop. I am absolutely appalled that management would have even asked for payment especially with how bad the meal was. Will be keeping away from here for a very long time. Can not fault...

I went here with my family for Sunday lunch. I opted for the meat free dinner. I do like meat but tend to go veggie when I'm out for meals. If you like green veg then this will be perfect as there was green beans, green mangetout and green cabbage, all a bit too green for my liking. There was also carrots and mashed turnip, (not green thank goodness!!). However there was no broccoli or cauliflower, that would have been preferable instead of the other green veg. The saving grace came from the huge yorkie, roasties and gravy which were lush. To be honest, considering all this cost £12, in my opinion it was overpriced for what there was. The other point I want to mention is that we wanted the sticky toffee pudding but with custard instead of whatever it mentioned on the menu. Considering the price was £7.50, my husband was going to be charged extra to have custard. This is not on. £7.50 it extortionate anyway without charging extra when swapping from one thing to another. After making it known he wasn't happy at the prospect of being charged extra our pudding eventually arrived with sauce on and a tiny jug of custard. It all tasted lovely but again, not worth the price. I have been here before and will be...
