I have made several previous orders and around 90% of those orders have taken around 2 hours plus to arrive. Many times I’ve heard myself say ‘I’m not ordering again or I’m definitely not going back’ I completely understand that orders may be high or things can happen to delay orders but this has been every time. Surely they know to have more delivery drivers or perhaps switch the ordering machine off when they have too many orders to catch up on? Anyways, tonight the kids begged me to order a sweet dreams and stupidly I gave in. I joked on and said well if we order now it may arrive by midnight. I placed the order at 18:12 and it took until 19:17 to receive an email to say your order has been cancelled. I rang the shop to be hung up on twice, third time a lad answered and I asked, I’m calling to find out why my order has been cancelled and all I got was ‘ah the ice cream machine went off so your order was cancelled and your refund should be within 48hrs but you can make a new order if you want’ absolutely shocking customer service. Surely a better response would have been ‘the ice cream machine has gone off, I can cancel the ice cream and go ahead with the cookie dough and waffle and would you like to replace the ice cream for something else’? A full hour to wait to be told the order was cancelled because of one ice cream on the order and to then be told you can place another order, what and be out of pocket twice chancing and hoping the order will come and to then be told my order would need to go to the back of the queue again! I don’t know how the shop is still running coz I know I’m not the only person to experience the poor...
Read moreSeems like a theme with the negative comments, food was really good but I ordered the food at around 10:20 and the food was meant to arrive at 11;20 at the latest. I receive a phone call from the shop at 11:19 to say part of my order isn’t available and what do I want to do about it. I was polite and said don’t worry I’m fine without and he proceeded to abruptly tell me, well you will have to cancel it yourself. I explained that wasn’t ideal as I wasn’t sure how to do that, he then went on to point out, well you know how you ordered it ? I told him he didn’t have to be rude I was just disappointed as this could have been discussed at the point of order and he’s now calling me when my order is due to tell me this and I will have to do the work to rectify it and he simply passively agressively threatened “do you want your order or not”
You are entirely based on customer orders, develope ANY customer service. A simple apology as my order was late and now not full and an offer for a drink or something free of charge would have gone a long way. Won’t be ordering and will be advising anyone that will listen not to order from there as I can’t stand poor...
Read morePlease don’t waste your time, no updates or notification that there may have been a delay with receiving our order, tried to ring Sweet Dreams several times and were unable to get through. When we finally got our food no strawberries on one of the crepes we ordered the other was freezing and the sundae was melted, finally got through to one of the staff members Aseem who disputed that we didn’t order a crepe with strawberries (we did) and that they apparently sent out a notification that orders would would take and 1hr and a half (we did not receive this) and besides the point we still waited over 2 hours? and were advised to call back tomorrow to speak to a manager and dispute a refund, whilst I may have understood that they may have not been in a position to process a refund their attitude was stinking and...
