I was here as I were visiting the area, I found it a clean and very pleasant venue, I noted from the min I walked the staff were immediately attentive, and was asking what I wished for, so I thank the lady for that (yesterday afternoon) I also noted that this is child friendly place and 10/10 for that. Nice pop pow burn ! Nice staff ! Nice drinks ! you should go ! I give it 4 out 5 only one down fall is pool table bit wonkey needs moved around somwhere else in the pow burn the walls block your shots when you play ! If that was sorted l would give 5 out 5 ! But loose point for that again they need new table or sort the floor out or move it somwhere in pow burn and should close bit later about 12 ish too early 930pm monday to thursday thats other down fall in pow burn But again great pub ! We hope they sort the probblems out...

Nice, big, and clean bar with pleasant staff and no 'riff-raff'. Also, cheap! Unfortunately, the real ale they have is rank!!! Tasted 4 different ones which became obvious that they DO NOT look after them, clean the lines properly which is a shame. Also, staff over charged for drinks when the promo started at 7pm for certain drinks.. They didn't seem to know, or care. Overall, a good experience, just stay away from the real ales, and let staff know the price for the drinks promo... The best bar in North Shields...
