This store seems to make up their own rules. Went in today and firstly they had no almond syrup. I've previously ordered an almond syrup flat white and on two occasions been given an almond milk flat white = rank. Perfect example of how woke society is becoming. They don't put chocolate on the cappuccino as standard and when I asked for it the girl pointed to the Nutmeg sprinkles and said there's some sprinkles over there. Who wants Nutmeg on a cappuccino?? If I wanted to make my own drink I'd have made one at home thanks. Wouldn't have to pay nearly 4 quid for a cup of burnt milk either.
The worst part about this store is the staff. The girls in there are passive aggressive and condescending. The girl who was making drinks then eventually agreed to put chocolate on my drink after directing me to the condiments bar said "oh I'll find some for you " then rolling her eyes... There were also no napkins and barely any food to purchase even though it was lunchtime and not hugely busy considering the size of the store.
There was also nobody else in the queue but for some reason they wanted my name to write it on the cup. Perhaps so they don't get confused with all the orders flooding in.
Apparently you can no longer pay on your card and scan your app for points. You have to top up your card with money then scan it for points so that eurogarages can get your money before you pay for your items then you can accrue points. Really bizarre system.... The girl tried to ManSpalin it to me like I was some sort of idiot in the making. Easily done if you could get any signal in the store... No 4g or 5g and the WiFi has to be signed into and takes ages to do.
Don't waste your money there's a perfectly good Costa down the road who don't make you feel like an idiot for asking for chocolate on...

However, I've just come from there tonight (7.01.22) and they must have new staff because there were 2 young staff I'd never seen before (blonde short hair and the lady had black curly hair) from start to finish
Wasn't listening to my order had to repeat self 3 times. Doesn't greet me, other colleague has issue with one of the three blenders, goes and stands with her trying to fix it, which he could have done after giving me the coffee which was stood there waiting to be given to me lol
3.Let me tap my card but I thought I may need to put it in the machine, true to thought I heard the card decline After the card declined he gave me the coffee with the lid not on properly and burnt my hand and got on my coat, he didn't seem that bothered and said oh sorry your card declined I said yeah sorry I need to put it in, could I have 4 brown sugars and a stirrer please he gets the card machine and then puts a stirrer in some tissue, no sugar? Lmao
Not paying attention, rushing, can't prioritise, rude,impatient, clumsy!!

   Read moreGreat drive through experience. I just want to give a massive shout out to Matt who was on shift when I went to the drive through. This guy is such a credit to this store. He is so pleasant and cheerful in his manner. Really helpful and nothing was any trouble. I have to say we recently went to a rival chain drive through at Ventura and found the staff to be rude there and we over heard them moaning about customers on the headset tannoy. Therefore it was so great to be served by Matt and have a fantastic experience. Seriously give this chap a bonus whoever the manager of this store is.
