KFC — Restaurant in North West Leicestershire

Went through the drive through on friday 14th Oct, the young lady that took my order was same lady who took my money, I found her very very friendly and helpful nothing was a problem in explaining my order from her, my order only had 4 pieces of chicken I wanted 5 pieces and she organised it that I got my 5 pieces I had to pay the extra which was expected I not a regular visitor to KFC so I had never seen a menu. But thanks to the young lady I will now become a regular customer in fact I returned the same night for the same order again I had before, same lady on, i returned as the chicken 🐔 was very tasty and tender 10/10 to staff in fact I hope the bosses will show young lady my comment here and thank her on my behalf 4 her...

The place was just about empty when I arrived, but despite this and the fact that as many as six staff were on duty, all of the terminals were without paper so were unable to give receipts and also not equipped with paddle markers to identify your table/order. This immediately gave a bad feeling. It didn't get any better. Chicken was 'ok', and the dessert items were very nice, except - nobody bothered explaining the 'empty bowl' procedure to me, a 'rookie', so I had to ask, which could have been embarrassing had the restaurant been full, (they give you an empty dessert 'bowl' so it doesn't melt whilst you eat your main). Do I intend going back? .....No, not...

Although the food was good, it is a great pity that a new store like this was such a mess. The bins in the carpark were overflowing, but more disturbing the bins inside were worse. There was rubbish spilling out on to the floor. There was old/used napkins left on tables and several tables looked like they hadn't been wiped clean for a long time. A few of the staff members were just standing around chatting and it wasn't until we mentioned the state of the bins inside, that someone actually cleared mess up. There wasn't a lot of customers inside when we arrived so I couldn't see any reason why the place was such a mess. Very, very...
