We both ordered starters, loaded nachos and halloumi fries. The cheese on the nachos tasted cheap and rubbery. The halloumi fries didn't fare better, tasted more like mozzarella. All in all the starters were a bit uninspiring. The mains, I ordered beef bourguignon, the meat was tender and the mash was tasty. Vegetables cooked nicely. I enjoyed it (4) My partner had beef enchiladas. The enchiladas didn't have much tomato sauce as you'd typically expect, and too much cheese. The food is great and would've scored 5 stars, but 2 items our party ordered weren't available. It would have been nice to know what wasn't 'in stock' BEFORE we spent 5 minutes looking and choosing. The staff were lovely, really friendly and welcoming. The food was homemade,very tasty, piping hot and a good size.
