Sons friend ordered a pizza. Over one and a half hours ago. He rang around the hour mark to be told it would be 5 mins. 30 mins later still no sign!!! I ended up calling to say it was no longer wanted that waiting for over an hour an a half was unacceptable (2min drive away). I half expected to be told it was on the way but no they just asked for the address of order and then said was okay. No explanation or apologies. Very poor customer service. Only gave one star because I couldn't give less. UPDATE: Like I said customer service is poor. The response is nonsense and absolutely not an apology! Of course the delivery distance is relevant, as this will determine the expected delivery time. Funny I ordered from a very well know pizza delivery service and it took exactly 26 mins to arrive If a company is set up for review it needs to be able to accept being at fault if comments are honest. Stating that all takeaways have the same standards/problems is unprofessional. Best not to respond, just take the review as a point of improving or celebrating success. Surely that's what it's there for? Nothing else to say...

After having a couple of bad experiences with Big Bear I hadn't ordered in a while. Tonight I thought I'd give it another go, what a mistake that was. Ordered a kebab in pitta bread with house sauce. The kebab turned up with not a sauce in sight. I have never tasted anything as dry in all my life. I stopped ordering previously because they couldn't get an order correct and it seems this hasn't improved in that time. If you are collecting or getting a delivery I highly recommend checking your order. Unfortunately for me this has happened far too often now and I won't order from again as there are far more reliable takeaways...
