Big O Cafe — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

Went in today for some lunch with my husband and 2 children. Sat at a table which was being cleared by a waitress who was far from welcoming. She brought us menus and we didn't see her for another 20 mins. I was trying to order via the app while we waited but it was taking ages to load. Anyway, she did come and take our order and again was far from friendly. After that 3 of the drinks came out then we waited, and waited and waited for 50 MINS. on our food. No one at the tables around us had food either and due to the lack of background music we could hear every conversation about it. Take out orders were going out before we were getting served which I felt was ridiculous. Eventually I had to ask how long it was going to be as due to our car park ticket we were getting pushed for time. Food followed not long after and some if it seemed to have been under a heat lamp for a while. No apology for the wait or explanation but then again I wasn't expecting one from a waitress who looked like she would rather have been anywhere else than working. Recently tried a full fry on justeat and it was so tasty. Decided to call in today to eat in for the 1st time ever. Omg never again. I had entered the twilight zone of Coleraine. Tweaker sleeping on the 1st table. Wee Willie on the 2nd. 3rd table wanted Belfast to hear their convo. I sat at the table and ordered my fry and drink which took 15 mins for the waitress to come. 20 mins later my lucozade arrived. 50 mins from ordering, the fry arrived. Staff too busy chatting to get the brown sauce I'd asked for. Never got it. The salt shaker was literally bunged full of mould. Never seen anything like it. Couldn't finish after seeing the salt shaker. Sticky menus, run down interior, blue moulded salt. Dread to think what the kitchens like. Been sick to my stomach since the last bite of food. Never...

Ordered on u er eats for delivery. Said would be 50 minutes, took 1 hour 30 minutes. Portion sizes was absolutely diabolical and the food was awful. Cannot believe the price for the money. Chips was absolutely disgusting as well, soggy and just meh. Again not not nice. Chilli beef wrap was just soaked in chilli sauce to the point it was inedible. This wrap was £11.60. The size of it for the money. Fish & chips was £11.30. Was essentially 2 goujons of fish with soggy frozen cooked chips.

Honestly couldn’t believe it.

Worst meal ever and just topped off with the fact we waited so long for it. They blamed delivery on the traffic from coleraine , but I ordered it on my way from coleraine and the traffic was absolutely zero...
