Collinview Restaurant — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

We received our drinks quickly, good. Waited 20mins to take our order after receiving our drinks, not so good. Waitress comes over (eventually) we were only wanting a starter with our pint but we were told that it's a set menu on a Sunday so we'd need to order a starter and a main. Decided to just leave it. The waitress comes back over less than a minute later and says the chef will do it for us for £5! £2 extra for the mussels starter, happy days. All four of us ordered the salt and chilli chicken starters.. when it came to pay we were told it was £7 each. We questioned the girl and she said she had said it was £7. (She didn't!!) All 4 of us heard £5 with £2 supplement for the mussels if we were to have that!! Basically I don't think the waitress knew her arse from her elbow. After high recommendations went to the restaurant with high expectations, sorely disappointed ordered crab claw and mussel chowder was informed no crab claw so just took mussels if i got 2 mussels out the say 20 served that were bigger than 10mm was a miracle the other 3 starters 2 soup and Chilli chicken were fine. The mains I had 10 oz sirloin was cooked to my liking but chips undercooked onion rings not cooked veg were certainly more than el dente and my wifes gammon not great.The staff were excellent service very good but let down badly by whoever...

Thought we'd try the £10 meal but very disappointed with it,,had chicken Gurjons salad and Fries when came there wos 4 Gurjons and very tiny bit of salad the fries where not nice at all didn't eat them,,hubby got burger and fries burger dry bap burned you got one topping on it which he got bacon 🥓 it wos tough ,,seems you only get wot you pay for ,, always loved there meals but...
