i wanted to get some lovely breakfast with my friends and we arrived expecting to be happy and fulfilled and the service was very disappointing and rude i asked for a large breakfast and i can say i was VERY disappointed they had no fried eggs , no hash browns , no flat bread and the bacon was burnt to a crisp the bacon was black almost to hard to eat. My full large breakfast contained of 2 pieces of burnt in edible bacon, 2 sausages and 1 piece of toast . i payed Ā£9.49 for what i thought was ā€œ full breakfastā€ but was like a child’s portion and not filling or appetising. Overall im VERY VERY disappointed i will never be coming back.

Doherty Home Bakery have a selection of delicious pastries for sale but there is also a hot food counter offering fried breakfasts, other hot meals and an exceptional stew which appears to be very popular. There is also a sandwich counter. Take away or eat in available. There is also ample free parking. You will find it right in at the back of a small retail park off the Buncrana Road close to the Derry/Donegal border.

A Derry classic, I try to pop in here each time I’m visiting the city, usually for a sausage bap and today for a sausage roll bap (a local speciality). Service is always pretty fast at the hot food section and there’s a good variety to choose from. I also seen they also seem to do baguettes and sandwiches which look absolutely packed with fillings.

A cracker friendly place for food & buns ,eating out of Doherty's 2 places a lifetime, the place is always busy for a reasonšŸ¤” good food coffie & sweet bunsšŸ˜, I lav this place big-time, with easy off road parking on the buncrana road,On the approach to Derry city, it's the perfect pitstop for any one holidaying, traveling, coming into the city from the republic or locals useing it for a 'chat & a chew with it's very spacious open plan, setup ,imho it's one of the few well run, well priced family...

I ordered a cake for my son's birthday 3 weeks ago and it was great as always. Ready in time, fresh and delicious. The reason for the markdown is that my hubby surprised me with a cake for my birthday 2 days ago and it looked good, frosting and icing were good but the sponge was really, really dry. I would've given less stars if this was my first purchase but I know from years of buying from here that this isn't their usual standard. Just sharing my...
