Kompletely Flipping Clueless

The restaurant is on the main street , with a handy roadside sign that is bigger than most of the surrounding buildings. The carpark was clean but also suspiciously empty, as well as the restaurant inside , this should have been a sign of things to come. However unperturbed in my quest for food we carried on regardless. We ordered two meals and were instructed to only use one half of the restaurant as the other half was closed ( I assume for cleaning) , bear in mind thought the restaurant was empty & it was only about 6.60pm , not like they were getting ready to close. The chips were cold and the Zinger Burger just did not taste up to the usual standard .... however both drinks were flat .... we took the drink back 3 times to get a replacement and to explain why, and the girl couldn’t get her head around the fact that we weren’t accepting a flat carbonated drink, we were made to feel that we were being awkward, in the end I insisted on a refund for the drinks as they obviously were unable to figure out that the machine needed the gas canister changing. Although the manager was there as the girl kept going back to ask her what to do, she refused to come out and deal with the situation herself. Poor staff , poor food …. Didn’t return for the duration of...

I knew standards, portion sizes and service has slipped drastically at local KFC branches. But I took a chance as every now and then you get a decent meal. Went to counter where a boy, possibly from Sudan had little grasp of English yet was trying to take orders. I asked for the Colonel 3 piece meal. He asked what side I wanted. Now I know it only comes with chips but I was assured I could have another to which I ordered sweet corn on cob. He then asked for £7.99 but the menu clearly said £7.49. I just could not get through to him and pointed it out on screen. A local girl worker came along and sorted it out but gave no explanation other than he is new. Then they lost the meal. And had to redo it. Then they had no breasts so I settled for two thighs and a fillet. I Some ten minutes later I got the meal with a large cherry Pepsi. The Pepsi overflowed and wet all round it. I only ordered a regular. The three pieces of chicken would not amount to one piece size wise. For 50 pence extra I could have had a decent Chinese meal. What a rip off it has become. Extortionate really. The chicken was nice and crispy and not greasy. But everything else...

Stopped off on Saturday past for some food with 3 family members, we ordered 3 boneless meals with a side of Gravy, A Trilogy meal and 2 portions of spicy wings. Whilst ordering food we noticed that the "Kids" running the store where having a great time singing songs and discussing tracks from "The Greatest Showman" in the cooking area, and the young lady taking the orders was soo shy and timid as if she was embarrassed.

Anyway our food arrived 20 mins later missing the fries from the boneless meals and the 2 extra portions of wings, when I informed the young lady taking the orders she told me that we had "swaped" the fries for gravy??? (its a meal ie Fries, Chicken, & Drink with additional Gravy) so I then had to pay for the fries as an extra and wait another 10 mins on them to cook the fries and chicken wings.

The lady serving front of house is very very shy and made me feel awkward trying to rectify my order, I don't know who runs this particular store but...
