McDonald's — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

Me went to this place called McDonald's on Sweep Road Cookstown. Me heard many good things about it from friends, so me decided to try. First, let me say, the food taste very good, especially the chicken nuggets and fries. But me also heard something very concerning.

Recently, many people from Pakistan, where me am from, have been saying that McDonald's food is not halal, which means it's not allowed for Muslims to eat. This made me very worried because me am Muslim and always try to eat halal food. Me asked the staff about this, but they didn't seem to know much about it.

Despite this concern, me still tried the food. Me must say it was tasty, but me couldn't stop thinking about whether it's really halal or not. Me hope McDonald's can clarify this issue soon because it's important for us Muslims to know what we can eat.

Overall, McDonald's on Sweep Road Cookstown is a good place to eat, but the halal issue needs to be addressed for us Muslims. Me give it three...

23:18 on Thursday night. Just finished work and I arrive at McDonalds.

Front door is locked, drive through only. This part is absolutely bullshit but that's not the reason for this review.

I'm in a long wheelbase high roof sprinter van with would have torn the top of the barrier off if I'd had tried to take it round the drive through.

So I walked round, expecting to be told they couldn't serve me if I wasn't in a car.

Had that happened the review would have been zero stars across the board.

As it happened I scared the crap out of the poor girl taking orders but I explained the situation and she took my order with a smile and a laugh. Incidentally she was foreign, my guess from the way she looked and outstanding customer service and easy manners is Filipino.

It's stupid that the door is closed at 23:00 but the customer service from this lady sent me away happy enough to leave a good...

Been here many times food not bad for what it is , but service is very slow waiting patiently over 20 min for table service had to go up & ask where food was to be told my order had not been added to the queue, The staff member then proceeded to pick the relevant items from what I can only describe as a food dump under 2 heat lamps in view of customers, staff just constantly make food & literally dump on a huge table with 2 miserable heat lamps , who knows how long it could b there , not best practice for sure & not something I've seen at other McDonald's, after finally getting my food , people had started to queue out the restaurant door because the service was so slow, the food was fine when I eventually got it but the service was terrible no apology no free item for the child just a scowl as they had been asked to...
