Today, I visited Tim Hortons in Cookstown, and it was a fantastic experience for me. I tried the French Vanilla coffee and Timbits, and the taste was absolutely fabulous. One of the most important things was the staff – they were well-trained and friendly. I met Ummara Farooq there; she was very friendly and motivated in her job. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Waited at drive-thru for a few minutes with no answer. Went to window to be told to drive around again. Girl was rude at window also. Then our order was missing dips.. so had to go in again. All receipts seemed to be piled near the till so maybe they didn't want to receive customer feedback? Hoping the one in Portadown will be better.

Food, is just terrible! Breakfasts are cold, even when straight over the counter. Barely Luke warm. But the burgers.........don't order one. It was pink in the middle. I don't know how they are "cooking" them, microwave maybe, but it's just not good. And for being famed for their Coffee.......it isn't even that good either!

awful experience staff were struggling to be even somewhat competent in making food and drinks. we entered to quite a busy restaurant with lots of people standing at the screens ordering from quite a vast menu which staff obviously struggle to keep up with.

once i ordered my food the machine told me that it had ran out of paper, and trying to be nice i walked up to the counter to speak with who i assumed was the manager (as he was the most bad mannered and loud) to tell him that the machine had ran out of paper which in response he basically just brushed me off and continued shouting across the restaurant.

35 minutes later after i ordered.. i got fed up waiting for my order to be called out so i went up to the counter again to ask about it. the man at the counter told me that they didnt have part of what i ordered. fed up, i asked for a bottle of water instead of the drink we ordered to which the staff ran around like headless chickens looking for a bottle of water to give me?

after another 5 minutes of waiting i finally got my entire order which was probably the worst meal ive ever had in my life. the entire meal was cold from sitting on the counter for the guts of 30 minutes. burger was basically just an onion sandwich with a slab of cold meat in the middle and fries were completely soggy. not to mention the coffee that tasted worse than disinfectant spray.

overall the entire place has a bad atmosphere a dreary and disgusting atmosphere. rubbish and food were lying all over the floor and all the tables and bins were overflowing.

staff seem completely unhygienic as well.. as i watched the manager (?) empty a bin with no gloves on, leave the bin bag behind the counter and continue to run around the restaurant handling customers food without washing his hands.

save your time and money and go to mcdonalds across the road, because...

It has been downhill ever since the removal of the all day breakfast. After this I had stopped coming for food, and only drinks. Today, I decided to come in a try the lunch/dinner menu. The order was two meals, a bacon double burger meal, with a small pumpkin spice iced capp (seasonal drink, so more expensive), and a chicken wrap meal, with a regular pumpkin spice latte (again, seasonal, so more expensive). The first issue was the lack of pumpkin spice flavour syrup, so we had to change our drinks, the small iced capp to a chocolate orange shake, which was also a seasonal drink, so should have been similar in price. The pumpkin latte was changed to a maple latte, which also is less in value. The what should have been a chocolate orange shake came as an Oreo iced capp, and the maple latte came as a small rather than a regular. I decided to only try to get the latte changed for a regular, and the worker took it, and forgot about it. It wasn't until they came again asking me, about a different order, when the manager then dealt with me, and got it sorted. When I sat back down to eat my food, my burger, the "bacon double burger" had no bacon. And worse again, one of the burgers in it was like eating rubber, extremely stale and hard to eat. I'll not ever be coming back to eat food here again after this experience. It was an utter waste of money, when I could have gotten more, better made food, for less the cost. I will be keeping the reciept for today's visit incase this review is seen by Tim Hortons, and a refund...

Coffee is good, doughnuts are OK, food is frankly hit or miss, and the service is very poor indeed.

I have been here a good few times through their drive thru (very poorly laid out with no menu until you reach the speaker and no separate payment window) and they have declined in service over time.

The wedges that they serve vary greatly from nice and crispy to soggy and tasteless as if they have been blasted in the microwave 1 too many times.

They keep getting my order wrong, from straight up missing meals or doughnuts, to incorrect items.

Today I received an incorrect item and tried to correct this before leaving the drive thru, but the serving staff (who have been very brusk since day one) refused to correct it. It was a small thing, but because of this I won't be back.

I would highly recommend everyone checks their orders are correct before moving off. But feel that this will only worsen the traffic issues that already plague...
