Milano's Stewartstown Road — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

Placed an order 3 weeks ago via app and paid online on a Thursday evening. When the order hadn't arrived after 1hour and 15 mins I called to check how much longer I was expected to wait, and was told it was on the way. Still no delivery over 2 hours later. Called again and was told they hadn't actually made the food yet and my order was to be made next. At this point I told them to cancel the order and asked for refund. Was advised the refund would be sent immediately. 3 days later, still no refund so called and asked could I have my money back, was told I'd get a call back about it. 1 week later still no refund or call back so I called again asking for my money back to be told that I would get a call back. Its now 3 weeks later and still nobody has called back and I haven't been given back my money. Absolutely do not...

Milanos is hard to beat I grew up with this chippy I remember Milanos opened in 1998 and even now its the best chippy in the North of Ireland maybe in the UK old-school never tasted a chippy that even comes close. Milanos is nicer than the og chippys like Raffos, Aldos and even the closed down red barn. Feeleys browns and mannys etc don't cut it.

Stone baked pizza in my opinion is the best way to cook a pizza unlike dominos and pizza co where they use a conventional oven not good. Everything is lovely in Milanos esp there old school gravy and there biggest seller the Taco chip! Only shop left that still makes them the right way. Bolognese mince made with mushrooms onions in a tomato and chilli sauce on chips with cheese and garlic taco sauce and you can get them...

Been eating at this takeaway for many decades…. Saddens me to write this but the last few years their chips have been absolutely dreadful, I was a massive fan of their taco chip, no question the best in the West and beyond, they changed their chips, so hard to cook it seems, you get them so overcooked they’re a filling killer or under cooked the potato is like cement…..you are losing a clean fortune because of these chips, I returned 3 tacos in one day because of the chips… ends can be absolutely horrible… please, please take heed, return to the previous supplier or reverse your decision for what ever reason you changed…. It’s been a talking point in the community for a while...
