Called into Mrs Brown's on a Sunday evening for a bite to eat, we ordered Fish, tea bread and butter and a kids sausage and chips with a can of Coke Zero costing £22 * I couldn't believe I was charged £9 for a portion of fish, it wasn't even a big piece of fish, the bread and butter was 1 slice, I'd ordered a kids sausage and chips for my partner who wasn't very hungry, he was happy enough with it, although it did cost £6.50 .... I did think this place was very over priced for what it was, definitely wouldn't call in again with these prices, food was OK, service was OK, there's really nothing to rave...
Read moreVery disappointed with our order this evening. We ordered 2 cheesy chips, neither of which had very much cheese, and any cheese there was wasn’t even over the chips. We ordered a chicken fillet burger, and the chicken fillet was mostly just wafer thin batter except a few parts that actually had a small amount of chicken. The fish inside the batter was all dried up and chewy. The fish flew across the plate when I tried to cut it (due to the hard/crisp batter).
