We ordered the beefburger (£10) which came in a Brioche bun with 2 onion rings, a pot of salsa and we ordered sweet potato fries instead of potato fries which was £1 extra. To order the fries or sweet potato fries as a side it was £4 a portion on the menu so I couldn't really understand why there was a charge of £1 extra. Having said that, the meal was very nice. The burger was moist, seasoned nicely and all lean meat. Apparently a local butcher supplies all the meat. We had to wait to be seated. If you have any room after your main course, they have a good selection of deserts, cakes and scones. I had a pot of tea for £2 and had 2 cups out of it, there was still some left in the pot. Wasn't impressed on latest visit unfortunately as its normally all good. Foods always good no issue there. However not sure whats gone on with cleanliness and staff moral. Radiator and wall we were beside where covered in stains, nothing hot soapy water wouldn't resolve and female staff where just so disinterested. Excuse of young and native doesn't cut it anymore, a chat about good customer service ladies or find another employer who treats you nicer maybe if it's not worth the hassle honestly they seemed so miserable not a great vibe in it anymore. A teaspoon missing from coffee aswell and dishes galore at icecream counter. Wouldnt mind the slack if you charged less on the menu....
