The best restaurant in cookstown by far as it stands in January 2022. The owner is a gentleman and very hospitable. The food is fantastic and would not be out of place in Dublin City centre. Beautiful Sunday dinner takeaway. Carvery takeaway in my experience is never that great, but this was very good. The meat was of high quality, and generous portions at very reasonable prices of £7.95. Huge portions of gravy and pepper sauce on the side! I will definitely look forward to visiting Villa Vinci restaurant when it opens and trying some of their authentic Italian food.

Overall a nice place to eat, staff is friendly and food is very good worth the price. The only down i have to point out in case no one did before is the womens toilet locker doesnt function properly and when i told the staff after being locked and having to call my partner to open it for me i was disregarded and told i just had to be gentle with the locker. As if someone has instructions on how to open a new door after being locked, it should be replaced to avoid a future problem. Otherwise toilet conditions were ok.

Can't wait for this restaurant to reopen for dinning in. There delivery and take out are first class. Great place for a date. Great place for family dinning. Great choice of wines. Presentation is a real art. The service and attention to detail by all the members of the team are absolutely second to none. We felt very special as the service was spectacular. A must if your in the area.

First time visit.

Location is on the main road and easy to find. Parking can be found on the street or there are various carpers within a short walking distance.

Atmosphere: rustic but modern. Clean, tidy and professional.

Service: friendly staff and the owner made himself known and took an interest in what had been ordered, even offering suggestions for his preferred meals for my future visits.

Food: I ordered the 12oz sirloin with homw made chips and garlic butter. The steak was cooked to perfection and the chips were the perfect combination of crunch and fluffy. The garlic butter was incredible. I enjoyed a pint of Kirin with my meal.

My partner ordered the pasta al forgot with garlic cubes. The pasta was perfectly cooked and tasted incredible! The garlic cubes were again, crunchy yet fluffy and the garlic butter that covered them gave a balanced savoury yet sweet taste. She enjoyed a blue wkd with her meal.

We ordered the mozzarella dough balls to share are these were exceptional. Soft, flavoursome and moreish.

Menu is varied yet somewhat specialised with a focus on pasta dishes. The drinks menu covered evergthing from soft drinks, beers, alcopops, vodka, whisky, gin and a variety of...

My friend and I called in for takeaway food as we've always wanted to try it, the restaurant itself is gorgeous, lovely ambience and they seem to have a great choice of drinks and food, however when asked what we wanted and when we said we were there to order takeaway food, the guy who looked like the owner looked at his watch and sighed giving us the feeling we were putting him out so I replied if it's too late it's OK, he said it was grand, he was saying all the right things but not once did he smile or give us the feeling that he was happy to accommodate us. I ordered brie and calamari which were gorgeous but strangely the calamari came with tartar sauce which I've never seen before, normally it would come with a wedge of lemon and perhaps a sweet chilli sauce. My friend got pasta with tomato sauce and it was way overcooked and sloppy. I've mixed reviews about this place as the restaurant and my food was lovely it was just missing that welcoming accommodating vibe for me. Hopefully was just...

The worst soup of the day and Pizza Casa of my life. I have not been here since Dec 2019, before that often for business lunches with my clients. It was always very good. Today I ordered a soup of the day: Lumps of flour in it, bland taste, gaanz bad. Then came my house style pizza, with anchovies and blue cheese on top. With it a glass of wine and water. The pizza tastes quite good up to the part that was totally sloppy and not baked through. In addition megaagressive music. I had to stop eating because the music was terribly aggressive. I asked to turn down the music or change. This question was acknowledged with a stupid laugh from the waitress. I then paid about 28€, left the pizza, wine and water and left. Too bad the boss was not there, we know each other for a long time. He would have reacted, I know that. Too bad, money burned,...
