Cafe Red — Restaurant in Oldham

Been going in here for years not been in for a while and we went in at 11 40 am and we waited 5mins and was asked hadwe telephone ordered of which we hadn’t so ask the rest of the que and most said yes we was then told we would have to wait Bering in mined we had waited nearly 10 minutes and none of the orders were ready it’s not right when we actually went in it wasn’t that busy and the person who spoke to us was quite rude and horrible although she is the owners daughter she is nothing like Tracy so we just left and was disappointed you should serve your customers that have gone into the cafe first and not keep them waiting and then tell them you will have to wait...

I used to work in the area and visit Cafe Red often and the chicken Sizzlers where literally the best chicken sandwiches around. After moving away I've not found anything to match it. So today I thought I'd go see if it's still as good. I'm happy to say nothing has changed in the 2 years I've been away. The Chicken Sizzlers are still the best chicken sandwiches I've eaten. This is a right gem. Went on Friday afternoon before it was closed. Tracey and the girls were dead friendly and helpful. The place is spotless with a 5*hygiene on the door. I ordered a blt baguette, the best blt I've had, proper cooked bacon and fresh French baguette out the oven, and generous with the bacon. Plus being Friday I had a chips with gravy. Can't...
