Ok, so I don’t usually make a habit of reviewing, least of all when it comes down to a faceless multinational but here goes. This particular establishment fell a good mile or two short of meeting customer satisfaction with the rather surly ‘if I must’ attitude demonstrated by the employee of the month. Permit me to elaborate. On the morning of the 29th Dec ’16 at around 6.30am I called on the branch in question for a ‘Breakfast Wrap’ and a Black coffee on my way to the airport. The change from a £10 note came in the welcome form of coins alone (this would later be handy for parking); I drove to the next window where I waited for my order. Whilst waiting I took the time to stock my coin dispenser up whereupon I found what I deemed to be a counterfeit £1 coin. I was perfectly polite as I took my order, Indeed I even excused myself when I said ‘I’m sorry to be a nuisance, but this coin I got in my change looks counterfeit’. The employee of the month told me it was just dirty and it was Ok. Reluctantly the coin was taken from me to seek the blessing of the manager who I’m guessing, isn’t a coin expert. The employee of the month duly returns to inform me, ‘my manager says its fine, but to avoid any arguments here’s a nice shiny new one’ (which incidentally WASN’T new). The window was closed as I said ‘Thanks’, and thanks I may add for what? The employee of the month had brushed off my concerns to start with, indignantly stomped off to the manager who evidently then remonstrated his/her expertise in the counterfeit world, and then the discourse ended by the employee of the month trying to make me feel like it was a big favour that they had done as I’d requested. If they had wished to avoid ill will, surely the course of action was simply to replace the coin in question rather than be antagonistic. A business is only as strong as the weakest link. Just how dare I bring McDonalds trade at that time in the morning! It won’t be...
Read moreAbsolutely shocking experience. I wanted to rate it a zero star but you have to rate it a minimum of a 1 star in order to make a review? On the subject of an order..I put the order in via the drive through. There was only 1 car behind me and no cars in front. After I placed the order I drove around to pay for my order. This is where training is needed because if I had been told that I would have to wait forty five minutes for my order and with missing items then I wouldn't of placed the order but instead was told they was waiting on chips and so expected no longer than a 10/15 minutes wait. Whilst parked up and waiting it was obvious it was mayhem and chaos and staff not knowing what they was doing. One staff members attitude was shocking and I was spoken to like they was doing me a favour but I'm the one paying for a service.
I'm a very straightforward down to earth lady and what I don't like nor respect is being lied to or being fobbed off. Therefore I challenged this person whom kept walking past my car. Waiting on chips ?when the reality was now that I was told that the brownies as part of the meal were still frozen as they had been in the freezer? I was then told again they would chase it up but they still continued to come out of their workplace with others meals and had the cheek to say that they just grab whatever meals are on the table, which is NOT chasing up my order. Whilst this was happening there was a road closure at the traffic lights and on broadway which I could of avoided if it had not been for the 45 minutes delay on my order. This was suppose to of been a treat for my child but instead turned intoo an upsetting experience and then a stressful situation with the road closure. I will be contacting Head Office as major changes and...
