I went here yesterday for my 21st birthday, there was 30 of us. firstly we paid £5 each deposit which was fine, but we had 4 under 5 year olds who didnt eat hardly anything and they still had to pay the £5 deposit- fine- not great but ok, this was the deal breaker so basically as it was a friday night, there wasnt a proper menu, it was set meals only. which were £23 each. you had to pay this per head!!! even if one person did not like/ eat anything there. also if they did not pay they had to wait outside! so like i said as it was friday night there was 'entertainment' notice quotes. basically a singer whom sang 3/4 songs then left and an old man who sang some stuff for a little while. this was paid for of course, you had to pay £10 each person for the entertainment which we did not want nor ask for!!!.

so now thats explained, per head meant PER HEAD. my 4 year old sister, my 2 & 5 year old nephews and my 4 year old neice was no exception £23 each!!!!!!! how shocking this was refused no chance anyone would pay that price for kids who spent most of the time playing together and watching kids programmes on the ipad.

you was not allowed to get a set meal FOR TWO between two people, you HAD TO PAY £23 each. one of my friends only wanted chips and had to pay £23 for a bowl of chips!!!

staff who we dealt with with regards to the bill were rude, bill came to nearly 1000 this was just for the meals nobody had drinks on the bill these were all paid for as and when. so they tried to rip us off and get cocky and arsey with us when my mum tried to sort it out as she was the one who organised it.

absolute joke, wouldnt go again for a big meal or even on a friday night.

take advantage of the fact people are drinking. we had ordered vodka lemonades etc and got lemonade no vodka, just a complete...

After attending a banquet night here in October,I decided to celebrate my birthday here with family on 26/01/2018. What a disappointment, the table was booked three weeks previously for four at 19.00 and we said we would stay for the entertainment, we arrived promptly and were seated on time. The soup and starter of the banquet were served and the food was nice, but it went downhill from here. The restaurant was filling up, there were three tables of about thirty and the rest of the restaurant was full. The duck was served....it was a plate of bones, fresh duck was brought and we had to ask for more cucumber,spring onions and sauce, by the time this arrived the duck had gone cold. The second plate of duck was then taken and replaced with a fresh plate of duck more spring onions,cucumber and sauce. After this we then had to wait for the main course as the staff were so busy, unfortunately the mains were not up to the usual standard. The whole meal had been spoilt with poor service and a very overbooked restaurant. Due to this we chose not to stay for the entertainment and asked for the bill, the money was placed on the tray it was promptly taken...... Shame the rest of the service wasn't as prompt. I have visited this restaurant numerous times over the years and have always been impressed but last night was a huge disappointment. If I ever do visit again it certainly will not be on an...

The food here is nice and we were generally enjoying our meal. However, the experience was let down by the attitude of one of the staff — the lady who was serving dishes. At one point, a cup of water was spilled all over one of us. We didn’t say anything at the time because we thought it was just an accident. But then she started making comments suggesting it was our fault for putting things on the table.

To be honest, I really wanted to explain that it wasn’t even my son who knocked over the cup — it was that staff herself, who was turning the lazy Susan while placing a dish down. The spoon inside the dish hit the cup and knocked it over.

What made it worse was that after it happened, she just stood there and didn’t do anything — not even checking whether anyone had been scalded. Luckily, another staff member came over with some tissues for us. Also fortunate that it wasn’t hot water, or it could’ve been a lot more serious. Even after some time had passed, she came back again and continued to make remarks about our things on the table, saying that it could cause another spill. She didn’t acknowledge that it was her own mistake and acted like we were to blame.

When she brought it up the second time, I almost said something, but we still had food to eat and didn’t want to risk anything, so I stayed quiet.
