It's not really a proper restaurant.
I visited on a Friday evening with a friend. It was not busy by restaurant standards; there was one family in, who were already eating by the time we got there. However, it took over 45 minutes to make our order. The tables were dirty. The staff did not seem to be getting along behind the counter; they appeared rushed and confused, despite how quiet it was. There was no atmosphere. It was dirty outside, like it had never been swept, and there was an old dog poo by the door. The Limonata I ordered that came out of the fridge was warm.
Don't get me wrong, the pizza was tasty. However, it was too expensive for the size and the small amount of toppings, particularly as the restaurant was dirty and service was exceptionally slow.
There was no explanation or communication to us about why it was taking so long.
The dough is good and it's cool to have a proper wood fired pizza in Oldham... But you're paying restaurant prices, with no restaurant. It's a take away with a fancy menu and a couple of tables.
Save yourself the disappointment and go to Rudy's in town if you want a proper...
Read moreI've had stone baked pizzas before in Manchester and in Italy, so I knew what to expect, but when I got there, I was pleasantly surprised by the cosy little restaurant! Great family business which is rare these days, was immediately welcomed by the friendly staff, which was nice, there's lots to choose from so I went for something I've not had before and with it being halal I was spoilt for choice. Prices were relatively reasonable too. I went for the Deshi Boy as someone recommended it, I love spicy food so gave it a go and it really hit the spot! Nice kick to it too! Not only was the pizza flavoursome, but you can really taste the high-quality ingredients used, real game changer as not many place use high end ingredients like San morzano tomatoes and fior di late so it's not your average takeaway pizza that's for sure! Chef really knows what he's doing and with an open kitchen you can watch him in his element working the oven, the chefs passion really does show in the food! FR Chef got some skills! 🙌🏻 highly...
Read moreThis cozy little pizza shop is a real gem! The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home. I ordered the Diavla, and it was fantastic—crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and super fresh toppings with a little kick. They clearly put a lot of care into their ingredients, and it really makes a difference. The atmosphere in this pizza shop is warm and inviting, with a cozy, casual vibe that makes it perfect for a relaxed meal. The décor has that charming, local feel with little personal touches that show pride in the place. Whether you’re sitting at a table or grabbing takeout, you feel like part of the family here. The space is clean and well-kept, with just the right level of background music to add to the ambiance. The Prices are very reasonable for the quality, and the menu has a great selection of both classic and unique pizzas. There’s not many places like this in the area so i’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great local pizza spot! Plus the parking...
