Joice our host and manager of the restaurant is an outstanding host. Our menu was quite extensive having only recently opened, we chose a starter to share and a main course each. Details to follow. Plates are warmed the presentation is of the highest standard. Travanvore crispy chicken to start, outstanding in presentation, quality and taste. King prawns and raw mango was again well presented and full(and I mean full) of king prawns that were cooked beautifully. My wife had the Sea bass wrapped in Banana leaves, served with a rich spiced sauce, a rice hopper and turmeric potatoes and salad. We completed our dinner with a Jack fruit sticky toffee pudding with cardamom toffee sauce. We both have been very pleasantly surprised by the delicious meal in very pleasant surroundings. This is something that we have needed in this area for quite some time. It is NOT your run of the mill curry house!!! If that’s your thing then this is not for you, however should you want a dinning experience with a fusion of Indian and Mediterranean style cooking this IS FOR YOU. We wish the team all the best and will see you soon

I recently dined at The Pepper Bistro in Broughton and was thoroughly impressed. Despite visiting at 5, the ambiance was inviting, and I can imagine it being even more vibrant when busier. The crab bisque starter was delightful, and both the lamb and chicken dishes were cooked to perfection. The accompanying poppadoms and bread were fresh and tasty. The service was attentive without being overbearing, making for a pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend The Pepper Bistro for anyone seeking authentic South Indian flavours with a modern twist. I will return again soon.

An impromptu visit, we hadn’t booked but luckily they were able to squeeze us in and made us feel really welcome from the get go. Started with an Espresso Martini and that set the scene for the evening really! We had a fab time working our way through the cocktail menu and enjoying delicious food which was beautifully presented. We highly recommend the belly pork and lamb shank main courses! The team were incredibly attentive and the atmosphere was lovely and chatty. A great addition to the village, we can’t wait to come back and dine with you again soon.

You must book, the menu choices were impressive and not too many options like your usual run of the mill Indian restaurants that go on for page's. But many options to cater to.

I was unsure as to what to expect, as lost the love for the sister company being Ginger Bistro. This place however didn't disappoint us. The interior decor is a nice bonus, beautifully designed, parking is right outside and ample, ambience spot on, lighting perfect too and music on par to match.

The service was superb our main man was Shijo who gave me my Cobra pint and normally its always plonked in front of the male in the party. I ordered pea paneer parcels as a starter so unusual and nice enough. The crispy chicken starter was incredible. My mains were the raw mango and tiger prawn with coriander rice cooked to perfection and piping hot 🔥. Excellent. I had the tiramasu with the gulab jaman for pudding loved the indian/ Italian combo it worked so well.

I must say it is more expensive than your average Indian, but worth every penny for the standard of food and creativity of the menu and overall service. I'll be back again hands down. Thankyou Shijo for handing me the bill I appreciate the...

Honest review. Took my parents out for dinner for a special occasion. Atmosphere lovely and food excellent however a couple things could have been improved and may be useful feedback.

We waited over an hour between starters and mains, despite me stopping a waiter, an explanation of the wait (ie restaurant is busy) would have been appreciated from the outset instead of the waiter disappearing after saying he would find out. There was a min communication between staff which left us waiting again for dessert menus.

We were asked to move half way through dinner despite pre booking so a larger group could have our table. The seats we would have had to move to were the last left by the door. As a smaller party I would expect to be treated to the same high standard. We stood our ground and didn’t have to move but the incident did create a stressful dilemma.

Overall we would come back and hope the issues mentioned...
